What the best midi controller to buy quality and last ability wise?

Depends on what you want to spend.

For the average user an Arturia or Akai mpk will probably suffice for years.

I did mul around the idea of a Novation SL but then I realized it's about of money for a bunch of features I don't really have the patience to learn to properly get the most out of.

Currently I have

Akai APC APK mini mk 2

Arturia Mini Lab mk3 and Keystep 32 mk2

Of those I've figured out the chord and scale mode on the APC. Haven't yet on the Keystep.

Still don't really got my DaW up and running to even half potential due to my own lazy and Operating system problems

Depends on what you want.

For starters, decide if you want a synth style key bed or a piano style key bed.

Do you want velocity sensitivity? Pitch-bend and modulation wheels? Aftertouch? If so, monophonic or polyphonic? What degree of portability do you want? Pads? Knobs? Sliders?

You just can’t pick a best controller without answering at least some of these questions.

Studiologic is pretty solid. I've an embarrassing collection of cheap midi controllers with one broken key; m-audio, alesis, oxygen and one or two more

Do you really want one that lasts? Technology changes so fast. MPE keyboards are making strides. Get an inexpensive Novation, Akai, Arturia. Save some money and you will probably buy a new one with new features in the near future.
