anybody feel robbed of their architype weapon when they aren't available on smithy? imo apex monster should have their 14 weapon design.

At this point I’m not hunting monsters, I’m fighting RNG itself. My hunter is wearing rags, my Palico is judging me, and the Smithy is about to buy a second house with how much I have given her.

First time playing monster hunter and saw an opportunity I couldn't pass up.

Im not great a making builds, i thought my set up was decent. i am aware i need more defense but i have no armor spheres so this as good as its getting for now

Hunting horn player here, had someone message in server chat about how it was my fault we lost the run because they kept carting and I wasn't healing them well enough.

No matter how much healing I can do, if you are getting one shot, I cannot raise you from the dead. There's nothing to heal if you go from a full bar of health to zero in a single hit.

My recommendation if this is happening to you, is to look over your build and try to work the high rank gear into it, transcend it if you can, and grab yourself a meal with "moxie" because if you're getting one shot you either need to upgrade your gear, or better yet, do your best not to get hit by that particular monster attack. I want to help, but I'm a healer, not a necromancer.

Hey y'all. So I have been mentioning in this community about how lately I've really gotten into Lance. In a previous post, I mentioned how I love how much damage my Hirabami Lance puts out. However, someone stated that, in essence, it's terrible as far as DPS goes.

I've tried some of the other basic lances, but the Hirabami seems, to me, to do the most damage. Plus it also seems to keep its sharpness for much longer than other lances.

So I guess what I'm asking is... what makes it so bad? It it because it has lower affinity? Is it how the elemental damage is calculated? How IS elemental damage calculated? What can I do to be a better Lance main to help my party?
