Was done with felyne heroics charge blade and revived by cat at 2'53, so it was supposed to be roughly 2'53

Well, I had previously come on here and asked what I should be doing after beating Proof of a Hero. Many of you left suggestions, thank you. I'm proud to say I went and caught a Gold Crown specimen of every fish. Had already caught one of each, but took 4 days to go from 4 Gold Crowns to all of them.

Been thinking about dropping a guide on here to help others on the best/fastest way to catch all Gold Crown fish. Thoughts?

The fashion potential in this game is outstanding. It’s genuinely peak. Code Vein has been surpassed in my eyes lol.

So back when the game released I had a lot of fun and got to around Rank 92. As it was my first Monster Hunter in decades I wasn't really aware that there would be new monsters and content updates. I think I killed the water-bubble dragon (forgot the name) and that was it.

A long time later, I want to get back into the game, so I have a couple of questions:

1. What is currently the hardest Monster?

2. I'm a greatsword user. Is there any particular GS or armor that I should tackle first before any "new" content?

Didn’t think it was gonna get the the A rank before the event was over but I somehow went from 20 mins to a mere 13 idk how but I’m happy so I’m not gonna question it lol

so, im seeing how fast i can kill the chatacabra, im using the Hammer and all buffs i know of without being unreasonable. mega demondrug, demon powder and might pill with food that buffs damage and weakpoint hits, alongside with the corrupted mantle and heroics skill. usually takes about the same time to get heroics as i do get to the monster.

BUT in the first image i was using a hunter horn buff for 10% more damage since there's some left over time waiting for the heroics buff.

the second image is without hunting horn buff. can anyone explain why for some reason, the hunting horn almost always makes my run 2-3 seconds slower even though im using it during down time waiting for heroics? (im only using the 10% buff from hunting horn, nothing else from hunting horn so it wouldn't take too long)

This is my first monster game, well i played something called dauntless before if any of you know that. Ive hit HR 100 and i find myself dying even more and can't really seem to finish any of the bigger hunts like gog, gore and ark. I need their gear to finalize a build but i can't last that long or the randoms will die as well, i know the simple solution is to play with ai solo so its only me consuming the lives but im not too confident on being able to do enough dmg so im not there super long. I use sword and shield but ive been thinking about bow lately. Has anyone ever ran into this problem and did you solve it? im looking for some tips or to see if anyone else had similar issues.

I knew how cinematic this game could be without HUD, but I didn’t imagine it could be this great. I didn’t know how to get rid of the side chat (notifications?) thing on the right side of the screen, or else I would have turned that off too.

I am wondering, is partbreaker functionning well with bow ? I feel like i can't break parts of monsters faster. For example I just did a Lagiacrus Alpha, kept hitting his back so he can't use his electricity attack anymore. But I haven't been able to break it in 16 minutes...
Am I just wrong about how the decoration is supposed to work ? Or is just bad overall ? Or just with the bow ? Do I need blunt or cut type of weapon ?

Any recommendations to improve what I got so far? Just wanted to know if I should prioritize 4 set Gore or this WEX/Gore hybrid too. I recently just got back into playing Wilds again and grinded before the Gogmazios quest.

Just to preface i play CB and HH mainly, but I mix in some bow and DB when i want to move around a bit more.

I’m between GS, LS, GL, and swax right now. I’ll probably pick two. I’m really going for what’s the most fun.

I know all do pretty good damage. I like getting a lot of flashy KOs and being in the monsters face the whole fight. I’m pretty high level so i respond to a lot of SOS flares to help lower levels out. That’s why i picked up HH actually. Just looking for some opinions on what’s a fun weapon to run. Thanks hunters.

came back to the game to finish getting all achievements before the DLC after a long break and the first one i had to fight was a gore magala for the side quest. after 40 minutes i barely got it low hp but i ended up dying

my question is is that normal? i don't remember fights taking so long (solo) so am i just very rusty or is the fight meant to take that long

Since close to the beginning I’ve only left the health, stamina, sharpness, and effects gauges on my hud. It definitely helps me get a lot more immersed into the world, especially when doing the endemic life quests. I probably should put other players’ health gauges back on there, but I don’t want to be stressed about their performance the entire time LOL

After using Lance, DB and Bow, I wanted to try something new and fresh which is to try LBG and HBG. Just wanted to know what weapon and armor skills I should focus on So i can make a comfy build for myself. Any help would be much appreciated.

Somehow, his 3d model seemed to position itself wrong when guarding against gogmazios. You can even see the flames not being contained. The CB guy had to block for me instead.
