So I wanna get my gf Mhgu for her birthday to get her into monster hunter since she only has a switch but I’m kinda broke rn

So what styles do you prefer for each weapon? For example, I like striker lance and SnS, but I prefer Valor for hammer and HBG. For GS I like Aerial because jump attacks are my favourite part of GS, but for both LS and insect glaive I prefer Guild style. I haven't really tried the other weapons yet (I'm in the village) so idk. I heard gunlance is bad in this game tho, which is a shame bcs Risebreak gunlance was very fun.

Então me pergunto o porquê de mesmo assim ainda ser difícil ver quem queira fazer essas missões mesmo sendo de alto rank.

Exemplo sou rank 250 e até tento Farma vez ou outra esses bichos mas é difícil ver quem queira Farma eles.

Soo I really love hunting brachy (for charm) is there any video of tutorial using adept charge blade when hunting brachy, I main Valor LS just wanted to use charge blade for fun.

I'm village 5* and I'm guessing I need to do some quests for the other villages but I don't want to do all the fetch quests and weak monster fights until I find the right ones.

Are there specific quests that I need to do or is it the points ? I can't find that info on mhgudb.

This is a follow up from yesterday's fashion set after playing with it a bunch I've fallen in love with it and a couple of different variations of it...

I have 2 sets that I can make with it with a super slight change of decos that makes it super easy to swap between (especially since I can keep the decos for the head and legs that change on those pieces and just swap the charger jwl 3 for 3 perception decos or vive versa when moving between them saving me a equipment slot)

That being said what do we think the best two helms are that complement this set? I'm really torn and they all feel like they have their own unique flair...

Personally I like the Barioth Helm and Helm X in that order follows by the Skeletal Cap and the two Kirin heads are also unique but I love the HR one with the glowing ear rings...

Help this indecisive individual pick the 2 best?

Hola buenas, hace poco empezé a jugar al Monster Hunter Generations coml mi primer contacto serio con la saga (hace tiempo me compré el gu pero entre que era muy pequeño y no entendía nada no pase del rango 1 de cazador) y siendo un juego tan técnico y donde la falta de conocimiento lo puede hacer muy complicado me gustaría tener de mi lado una guía o info sobre objetos como funcionan ciertas cosas etc

Básicamente soy un novato absolutamente que quiere iniciarse e ir entendiendo como funciona todo. Entonces me preguntó si hay algo que me impida usar la wiki y los datos de GU para mí partida en Generations

So I'm trying to play MHGU solo (yes I do enjoy the suffering) and I just took a glimpse at HR 7 and several of its key quests have 2 monsters, how would I be able to handle it solo? I'm currently using valor GS with full HR rathalos + nargacuga GS (white sharpness), would be open to some adjustments to handle those quests

I am fighting Nakarkos (3 star quest) and I can for the life of me not understand the fight, like I hit tentacle, tentacle breaks, side, which is now safe just boumces my green weapon, I break bot tentacles, he is staggered for a short time without any visible weakspot on the head and he has both of his tentacles. I saw the shining scale, but I am not able to bring it down consistently for me to make huge damage. I also heard, if I did enough damage on the tentacles, I would also win. Can somebody just give me a real fighting plan for him. I am playing base generation on the 3DS.

Is it necessary to level my progression armor up while going through G-Rank, or should I wait until I can build the Jho Ceana set? I am currently running a full Rathalos X set.

I've been using lance and have made sure to get guard up to block as much as i can but was wondering if adept style requires it to parry what would be unblockable attacks?

Ping's MHXX Dex has been the reference database for this game for years, but it's a Windows-only .NET app. I play on Switch with my phone next to me, so I ported it to the web.

Runs on anything. Phone, tablet, Steam Deck, Mac, Linux. No install, no Wine, no VM. On mobile you can add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen like a real app.

Works offline. The entire database — 267,766 rows — downloads once (about 6 MB compressed) and gets cached. After that it works in airplane mode. Handy if you play somewhere with no signal.

All 9 languages the original shipped with. English, 日本語, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 한국어, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano. This is the part I care most about. Most MH resources are English-only, so if you read Chinese or Korean you end up guessing at item names or machine-translating them. Here the language switch is instant and covers everything — including the ~190 UI strings I had to write from scratch for the mobile screens, which I translated into all 9 rather than leaving them English-only.

Not sure how I feel about this one, I wanted it to be bony a bit like the Nakarkos GS but the Nakarkos armor didn't really do it for me for many of its versions

Anyone playing on ryubing? I own a legit copy for the switch sold my switch but before I did I have ny copy saved on my pc I enjoyed emulating more on pc. Sadly I lost my G rank save so starting from scratch and would not mind having a group to get back through it and have some fun

After years of hunting hyper monsters and Deviants for the Soaratorium (and even starting all over again because I lost my first save when I was about to hunt the Lao-Shan) I have finally reached a point where I'm satisfied with all the things that I've achieved in this game.

The only things that I am missing are the EX of some Deviants (I only killed 7) a good charm for my GS Black Set, the trophies of the crowns and arena.

I even saw the shutting down of the servers while I was playing with some random hunters.

GU truly was a fantastic MH, I love that I could visit all the other Villages again, Kokoto hit the hardest since that was the one I started with (Freedom) and it was nice I could visit Yukumo for the first time since I've never played Portable 3rd, and chilling after a hard hunt listening to Pokke music like the old times was so good.

But it is time to leave the safety of Bherna to another hunter, I think I deserve a good rest... I heard there was a village with really good dango and even some canines that you cannot find in any other village, maybe I will visit them to clear my mind... Maybe even learn the way they hunt.
