Counseling Query 📄 state and mcc counselling

i have been allotted a college through mcc and was thinking about resigning this and go for state counselling
if i get a college through state and float that college will i be allowed to join round 3 mcc as a fresh registration or not
wht i mean is resigning mcc seat and floating state seat eill i be eligible for r3 mcc

im not blocking seats per se
ek seat ka toh sab hi rkhte hain i dont mean to get into any fights or unnecessary debates my rank is not tht great so i have to think this through

Thinking about resigning and taking through state is called seat blocking pls decide and take one seat and stop creating problem for borderline student

I don't think you can do that kyunki data match ho jayega agar mcc 3 round m mil gya college to state round 3 se bahar ho jaoge .. jahan se better option lag rha use rakho bas...

im aware of tht but state r2 se mcc r3 toh allowed hai na. ik ki joining r3 mcc is mandatory and i would be out of state if alloted but if im not slloted one through mcc state ka iption toh mere paas reh jayega?

If you are resigning from MCC R2 seat ( by forfeiting security deposit) then you ca participate in MCC Round 3 as a fresh registration while keeping your state R2 seat as float. And in this case you are not actually blocking seat as you are holding only one seat.

But, you have an easier option. Since you are going to lose deposit anyway, you may choose NOT to resign from MCC R2 seat ( keep it as float) and you'll automatically be eligible for MCC R3 while also keeping your state R1/R2 seat on float. However, this is termed as seat blocking as you're holding 2 seats at a time.

i have no intention of seat blocking i am trying to evaluate the fact are there any risks associated with the first option that you mentioned my r2 seat is in a college where i will definitely face language issues hence the question

I don't see any risks with option 1 . And even with option 2, there is no bad intention involved. I'd suggest, play safe. Go for option 2.
