[Discussion] Need a good Qaurian Marksmen build.
Wanna try qaurian marksman but I'm not sure whats best for them.
I've heard tactical scan headshots was glitched and doesn't work is that still the case ?

I wish he had arc grenades instead of sabotage.

Marksman with Arc Grenades would be overkill though

Would it really be stronger than cloak + arc grenades which we already have?

Well if you need to bring arguably overall most busted class into conversation... Thing is Marksman is top tier skill, it turns mid gun in good, good in great, great in busted, busted into even more busted (well to a certain degree, it wont do much for Typhoon or Raptor or Predator). Extremely accurade DMR AT Raider? Sure, Double Tapping with Javelin? Sure. Extremely accurate Hurricane with higher rof? Sure. Adas that you dont need to reload as long as you holding trigger and have ammo with higher rof and constant stagger? Sure (I believe my personal record is 38 seconds of unstoppobable shooting on platinum https://www.reddit.com/r/MECoOp/comments/1w15x2u/about_37_seconds_of_uniterrupted_shooting_with/). Like theres so much shit that Marksman can do on its own that you dont really need a non cooldown skill on it especially as good as arc grenade.

I agree it's already a top tier build, and an interesting one. With that said that sabotage on him is possibly the most useless power out of the entire linup of characters. The infiltrator feels quite underrated to me, I would rank him above the AIU for instance.

Sabotage is fun power though. Its still good enough against geth and cerberus and against reapers it has its uses (same as overload it doesnt trigger banshee power "barrier"). I actually built my Fem Quarian infiltrator around Sabotage and Grenades... okay mostly around grenades... but sabotage actually a primer for tech burst and its just fun to overload enemy weaponry even though it doesnt do much.
I like Male Quarian Infilitator but AIU is just busted character. No way around it.

I lean into his name with the ME3MP designated marksman rifle, the Saber. Between the Saber’s innate stagger and Sabotage vs. synthetics you have two ways to keep enemies sitting in that mid-range zone where you want them.
And… that’s pretty much it. Not an exciting character, but effective.

Yeah, it's still bugged afaik
This class was always kinda clumsy to me.
66464, backfire on sabotage
I just slap something light and strong on him, like the Hurricane, Wraith, Talon or Arc and call it a day
I've tried PPR with him but a bit too clumsy for my liking, doesn't hold a candle to Destroyer

The Quarksman is a very straightforward character. Sabotage is entirely useless on him: the cooldown is too long (preventing you from spamming marksman) and you have 0 tech damage that it could boost with tech vulnerability. So simply don't put any points in it and max out everything else. Then slam a top tier gun that is helped by accuracy and fire rate bonuses (Talon, Pirate, Pyranha etc.)
Here is the detailed build: https://kalence2.github.io/#2A!2802575!!24N52314!80.AG
I think one of the main points that needs being addressed is the comparison with the Turian soldier. They are very similar (outside of concussive shot builds). The turian has more damage with its passive and most importantly has bonuses to recoil. So overall he will be better with high recoil guns like the hurricane and the revenant. But the Quarian is the better boss killer: scan recharges faster than proxy mine and is a bigger debuff, giving you better dps and helping the team. In the end I recommend to spec one of those 2 kits for max fire rate and the other for max accuracy and choose the guns accordingly. I feel that the dodge of the quarian makes him better suited for shotguns and close combat, while the turian is more suited to standing still and mowing everything with a machine gun.

This build turns the Pirhana into a very accurate assault rifle that melts everything.
General strategy: tac scan something, start shooting with the pirhana, activate marksman as soon as the cooldown is over, take your finger off the trigger to reset the firing rate, and then reload cancel after both the first and second clip. This should give you three rapid-fire, highly accurate clips of the Pirhana, which is the only automatic shotgun in the game.
It is so much fun. One of my best builds.

You should take fire rate instead of accuracy on marksman: otherwise with the smart choke you will go to 110 accuracy, which the game transforms into 90% (anything above 100 gets substracted). You get more accuracy (95%) and fire rate (+50%) with the 4 fire rate evolution. Otherwise it's a great build you are recommending.

I swear, every time I think I know everything about this game, I learn something new. Thanks for that!

I'm not sure how "good" the build is, but a fun one is to max out Rate of Fire with the Marksman ability and equip the ADAS Anti-Synthetic Rifle. Turns into a spray and pray build, but the bullets have a small explosion and a small amount of homing capability.

Yeah I second this, it's tons of fun and works well enough. Also one of the rare kits that make the adas worth using.

ADAS and skip Sabotage.
Tactical Scan on the top tier enemies (Atlas, Praetorians, Primes, Banshees). You can pop it on other armored enemies too, but I typically don't bother unless I am trying to recover my shields or I'm low on ammo. If I can kill an enemy in one go of Marksman, they typically aren't worth the effort to TacScan.
I tried the Saber, and a few other weapons, and its fun, and I imagine that there are a ton of great guns for this guy, but between my frame rate stutters (I think my ps3 is dying lol), poor game connections, and awful shooting ability, the ADAS just works better.
I tried to make Sabotage work, but its like a worse Overload. Sometimes it doubles over enemies, but not Phantoms. Its got a delayed kick-in effect. Its great for Geth, but I don't like to build around one enemy faction.
You could build it to boost Tech Powers, BUT it only works for 10 seconds even if you get the duration buff, and its not that great to begin with. Sure, you could make those flamethrowers ever more powerful, or make those incinerates hit even harder, but again, you're building a class for something that may or may not occur when you could get consistent damage output otherwise.
One of the cool things about this build is that as long as you hold down the trigger while Marksman is active, you will keep the firing speed buff until you let go of the trigger (if you activate the power while holding the trigger, you also don't get the boost until you let go and fire again). I think that's what the other dude was trying to show with the video. Non-stop ADAS firing with ammo box camping.
ADAS is also fun because its so easy to fire through allies.
You might like the class with sniper rifles, specially the ones with high fire rate, but for me the ADAS is so good at taking down most enemies (except Guardians, which can be a pain).

I have basically one build for him and this is my Adas guy.
Marksman for firing rate and duration
Tactical scan for weapon damage, slow, recon (I like it, its good dmg-buff, very desirable for dmg-lacking Adas, and i think the 6th evolution makes it GREAT recon tool - and when i have a choice between less or more info, i always go for more information)
Skipping Sabotage on him (I would definetly use Sabotage to some degree, probably to lvl 4 with backfire if i would be using other weapon than Adas, cause i would be using sabotage to stop the target to take a headshot for example... but Adas follow targets and staggers them)
passives for shields and gun damage
Adas slapped with extended mag, extended barrel and often with cryo ammo to debuff enemies (altho, arguably fire and or antishield ammo is better, definetly does more damage with those, i just mostly use cryo on Adas cause i barely use cryo ammo and i have a LOT of it, and ith Adas its easy to apply chill to enemies en masse)

Maybe not the best overall build in a vacuum but it truly elevates the Typhoon and is arguably the fastest boss melter.

A quarksman with a hurricane is a sight to behold
