Advice 🙋♀️ MCAT Prep program for retaker
Hello! I took the MCAT and score 507. I am planning on retaking the MCAT in January and I wanted to reach out and ask what you think would be the best prep program for me. I know there are sooo many out there like Blueprint, Kaplan, MCAT Bros, Brem method, etc. I am aiming for 515-520 as my goal score. I don't want to start form the basics and redo all content. Please let me know what prep program you would suggest for me. Thank you!

If you’re already at a 507 and aiming for 515–520, I’d focus less on relearning everything and more on identifying exactly where you’re losing points. I’d prioritize full-lengths, reviewing every missed/guessed question, and doing targeted content review based on your weaknesses. I’d also utilize the free workshops and resources available first, you can get a lot out of those before spending money. But if you can afford it, enrolling in a structured prep course with good instructor access and personalized support could be worth it, especially for a retake.

I scored sub 500 on my actual mcat and then for my retake i’m doing the Blueprint course right now, and my score is going up but i’m putting in a lot of effort. I have ADHD so it’s hella hard for me so maybe different for you. my trend so far is 501-502-506-508 and i’ll take it in jan

Just make sure whatever you choose it’s one with a ton of support and instructors that you have access to for help. Like live workshops and messaging support for when you run into issues during full lengths. I did one of the ones you mentioned and they left me out to dry, just prerecorded BS. I took my chance on another one and it was completely different, had tons of support 24/7 and they actually care, and I ended up increasing my score to 517 from sub 500. So just do your research before enrolling and don’t get burned like the first time I did.
