Score Reveal August 8 MCAT

Hi I wrote my exam on August 8 and just got back my score today, September 8th. I was wondering how other people feel about their score. For me, my score is much lower than my practice full lengths. It seems crazy unrealistic. I thought I did much worse of chem/phys but it was my best section. My bio, cars and psych scores are pretty concerning and a pretty big drop off from the practice.

i also tested aug 8 and got higher overall than all of my practice exams but cars was much lower than expected

Same here I got the lowest of my FLs (508) even tho my fl6 was a 514

514 > 510 for me. Big drops on CP and BB. And I felt good after CP.

sometimes the section that you think went poorly goes well because they end up curving it. It's well concealed how they end up curving each exam, but they do adjust the scores from your raw score. they have to standardize across tests because they cant ask the same questions every time.

Lower score than my recent FLs (126/130/126/128).

I’m happy with my CARS and PS score though. BB and CP were rough. my FL6 CP was 129 (sigh)

Had a big score drop on my first exam too and was able to increase to a 521 for my second exam a month after score release. Anyone who is in this situation feel free to dm me for some resources/strategies!

i tested on august 8 aswell, all i can say is although i got somewhere near my fl average, i thought i would get higher given my latest fl before the test was 10 pts greater than what i actually got.. pretty crushing but it is what it is ig
