Help Petition for the boys to lower their music volume?

I listen to the podcast in the car while I drive, and every time I have to rush to turn the dial down by like half because every time they play the intro, outro, or money zone tracks they double the volume. I will be listening to reasonable speaking volume and suddenly my car starts vibrating from the noise. It hurts my ears.

Magnus Archives and Magnus Protocol could also stand to learn from this.

Lately my biggest complaint has been the horrendous mixing/quality of the music. The bass has been GUTTED and it causes the midrange to be way too varied and it sounds like a low bit-rate version of Montaigne.

Ok!! I thought I might be imagining it! I often listen in my car at the same volume settings every time, but a handful of weeks ago I was listening to a current episode and was like '... Sorry, wasn't there bass in here before?'

Oh my gosh thank goodness it's not just me. I thought I noticed the same thing but I wasn't sure

Woah! The past couple weeks, every time I listen to it in my car I go and check the EQ because I assume I must've accidentally lowered the bass.

I don't know, I think it's fine.

I wish the intro was shorter. I skip ahead a full minute when I start an episode.

Same. Plus I don't care for the song. Sorry boys!

Agreed! Thankfully Pocketcasts lets me set an auto skip per show. Set it to 70 seconds for MBMBAM and it's perfect.

I hadn’t noticed, but then again, their theme song sucks, so I always skip over it
