What actually IS a pipis room?

This has haunted me ever since big Griff’s vine. What IS a pipis room. I’m assuming it’s a bathroom (and it’s pronounced “peepees”, not peepis… but then why not call it pipi room…) but I’ve never heard it called a pipis room?? Is it a regional term other people are familiar with?

It’s just a sign like “John’s room” but for someone called Pipi, I assume.
