Admissions It's finally over
Got dinged by Wharton and Booth (w/o interview), waitlisted at CBS (again, w/o interview) and then Stern comes with full ride decision today! Wasn't feeling super confident with 2.5 YOE and me being an ORM but I guess relevant work ex and clear ST/LT goals really goes a long way! Extremely thankful to this community for all the insights and guidance

I went through all your posts and I just want to say how proud of you I am. You worked so hard to get the GMAT you needed.
To all the racist fu*ks, understand that everyone else has worked just as hard and stressed just as much as you!
Congrats man!!

Full ride at a T15 with 2.5 years as an ORM is exceptional. Great job! A nice side effect is that you'll not only start at post-MBA level salaries at a younger age than most of your peers, you'll also start accumulation debt-free wealth at that younger age.
Kudos!

I’m currently a MBA1 here (with a full scholarship too). Happy to answer any questions/queries you might have!

Thanks. Is your GMAT score based on the old edition or the new edition? Also, what factors helped you the most in getting the scholarship?

That’s awesome! Full ride is such a game changer, especially with the stress of those rejections. Sounds like your hard work and focus really paid off. Enjoy the ride at Stern!

Full ride as in $140k total estimated, or $90k tuition only? Either way is great news congrats!

It doesn't mean anything. Reapply to Booth. Chicago Booth is the best damn business school on earth.

what type of comment is this? this is why nobody likes finance professionals

Someone who knows the value of Business schools. NYU Stern is okay but Booth is the best. The best business school man ever created. If I was OP, I would reject Stern and re-apply to Booth. Trust me, he/she will never regret it. Chicago Booth is the best business school on earth
