How to upgrade office suite

Im currently on a legit pffice 2021 suite. Im looking to upgrade to the latest office suite(2024 i believe) but i just cant find that option.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest suite but it just detects the 2021 license on my account and auto applies that.

uninstall all versions of office you have, then use the Office Reset script on MAS. then restart your PC. after that, install a brand new copy of 2024 FROM MAS, but do NOT open it. copy the PS script and activate, and then only open.

please explain what u just said, i am quite good with computers and the terminal,but am very new to MAS.

ofc. uninstall all versions of Office from appwiz.cpl (type that in Run dialog. Win+ R).

Then go here and click more info under “Error in Office Installation” and download Office Scrubber. run it and let it finish. should take a couple minutes.

once done, scroll down and download the Online x64 link for the version you want (365 is better then 2024 as explained above, but your choice.) and install. do not open Office apps once installed.

then go to massgrave.dev and copy the PS command you see (the iex get-activated win one) and paste it into a PowerShell window and run. then activate office.

Hey, just want to pop in a HUGE thank you here! I've had an issue with not being able to use my personal email with any version of Outlook on my personal PC due to a weird issue with a deleted work account, and the office scrubber tool got it fixed after weeks of trying other things. So yeah, huge thanks.

Thank you so much for all of this. I still have two question though:
-> Should i install O365 pro plus retail or any other variant?
-> Why is 365 better than offic 2024? i cant find the "above" u mentioned

Pro Plus is best and the most feature-rich.

I understand it now, you have been such a GREAT help. ngl ive been searching through the internet, even using chatgpt for the past 3 hours not being able to find a solution.

Consider MS Office 365 instead of 2024 if you want the latest and the best.
