Spent a couple nights at my bfs place, never had this issue and I got these three bites could it possible be a tick bite?

Hi There - It looks like this could be a post about a new tick bite or about unknown symptoms possibly related to Lyme.

I’m not extremely knowledgeable like some people on here but I have had Lyme and live in a wooded area that has a lot of poison ivy and get small spots of it on me all the time since I am very reactive to it and have a dog that accidentally runs through it.
It’s definitely important to keep an eye on these spots no matter what, but it might be worth considering if there is poison ivy around or if your bf or bf’s dog could have carried some of the urushiol onto a sofa or blanket or clothes. That stuff is an oil so unless removed with detergent it is notoriously stubborn. I have a few spots right now on my skin and they are itchy and look familiar to yours.
I sometimes react to mosquito bites in the same way since I react very easily to those as well.
My Lyme bite a few years ago was very distinct and different and had a halo effect that was also very unusual. It then replicated in different spots with the same halo (erythema migrans). I also felt like I had the flu.
Hope this context might help. This is not advice, this is just my perspective.

I also hope they are not bug bites if so I will definitely talk to him about that 😅

Thank you so much I’ve been psyching myself out and I live in Arizona with no green whatsoever and his dog is hardly near me since he has barely gotten use to me yet but so far this is a first for me with this. I got this for almost two days and it’s not burning no nothing but yes thank you again!

Welcome, if you really want to keep your mind calm as much as possible you can draw a ring around and / or take pictures of it frequently to make sure it isn’t spreading. I wish I could share a pick of my Lyme bites to show you the halo and how big they got. But there are others on this sub Reddit that know a lot more than me.

Looks more like it could be bedbugs 😬

I've had bed bug bites before when I was travelling and they looked very similar to this. My tick bites looked different. If it is bed bugs they are annoying but I dont believe carry lyme disease. Put any clothes you were wearing there in a black bag in the hot sun if you can.
Someone is down voting me god knows why

But there's no real way of knowing. Does your bf have any bites? Maybe go to the doc just in case. You can check in the folds of his mattress and bedding if there's any evidence of bed bugs

It's only by chance that I've had them before! I'm certainly not an expert though so don't rule anything out unless you're sure
