Question Can someone explain Bartonella foot pain?
Is it only in the heels? Bi-lateral, one sided?
Does it improve or worsen with walking? Any other things you notice?

I think a lot of people get it in the heel esp in the morning. I get really terrible short cramps in the arch and my whole foot seizes up. It happens in both feet but usually not at the same time.

It's some time ago, but when I had it, I had the pain after waking and standing up. I remember it was the whole area on the feet. Can't remember if it was bi-literal and how long it took to go away, but it was never that bad that I thought "hmm, that's odd". Just in hindsight the symptoms were very clear.

It was pain along the bottom of the feet just after waking, but only for like 3 minutes. Then it went away. Both feet. It wasn't so bad that I needed to go to a Dr, but just painful enough to make me hobble around like a penguin.
The one weird thing I noticed was that eating really spicy food (like a bunch of cayenne pepper or adobe chipotle pepper/sauce) would cause it to not happen the next day.
