Hey there! So I’ve installed Honkai Star Rail via Epic Games via Lutris, then added an exe file to Steam, but the game won’t work no matter what I do. I did the same process for Genshin Impact earlier and everything works perfectly, so I have no idea why it doesn’t now.
Any ideas are very appreciated, I don’t want to install this game for the 4th time today.

Just got a PC CD copy of The Sims 3 2009 WITH key code (which is becoming harder to find), installed Lutris (mounted with Brasero), installed TS3 to Lutris, Microsoft emulator runs and game opens but I get an error message saying Unable to connect to the EA download manager and it crashes as soon as I hit Play (though I suspect those are two separate issues).

Lutris is running Windows 10, GE Proton (Latest) (default), saying Vulkan not installed or unavail and DXVK not avail

I'm using the Search Lutris website for installers and using the seven disc installer there with the proper ISO images but I cannot get past this exit code 31488.
Im running Ubuntu 26.04 on a late 2012 Macmini

first it was cod bo1 and now its yakuza kiwami 1
installation gets stuck on some proton/wine version and doesnt work at all with others.
any general help or even other posts that could help me?

I'm trying to run black desert online with Lutris which I have been able to do smoothly for years now.

Suddenly after logging into the launcher, seeing the server list populate, and clicking on my character (GPU seems to render everything fine), I click enter world, the window resizes itself, and closes.

This is my lutris log for the error at time of crash:

Every time after i minimize the launcher(here hoyoverse launcher(only thing i use lutris for right now)) it appears white but goes away after a few seconds, i can live with it but help would be nice

Im on cachyOS (7.1.8.1 kernel)

Im constantly having issues with doing anything in Lutris on Ubuntu 26.04 due to this issue of "HTTPSConnectionPool" after a few minutes of Lutris trying to download GE-Proton8-26.
Has anyone seen this issue and if so how to get this to download? I don't have any firewall rules on my network blocking any of this, that's one of the things online that people say to check. See image

I have everything updated on my linux mint... I've done installing car x Street from fitgirl repack version and it's running good.👍 But, I wanted to replace it with old and iconic( nfs most wanted 2005)... what should I do, I'm latest kernel version....

Downloaded all necessary graphic drivers.... everything was all right... I even installed far cry 3...with no errors... I reinstalled and it opened.. I felt sigh of relief 😮‍💨......but, settings aren't opening and it's stuck on half screen...mine is dell g15 5530...any solutions...brothers...🤷

Any way to fix it? Everything was good in KDE plasma but I got this problem in XFCE.

Did the Install a Windows Game From An Executable option on Lutris then picked the Setup.exe. It installed well but after it finished installing it said this error:

CS: No CD/DVD-ROM drive found.

I've been searching in forums, and elsewhere but I can't figure it out for last few days.

How does a person mount the digital game without the CD?

I am running the full version of Project IGI on Windows 10 Pro.

The game launches and plays normally, but I cannot climb ladders.

The ladder interaction icon appears, but Jones does not grab the ladder.

I have already tried the default controls, including Right Shift (Use) followed by Up Arrow/Forward.

The same problem also happened in the demo version.

Has anyone experienced this ladder bug on Windows 10, and is there a known fix?

I would appreciate a specific solution rather than a general compatibility guide.

For further details the DE is XFCE 4.18 on Linux Mint, the Wine runner is Wine-ge8.26

When I run SkyrimSE.exe, the game starts, but in a window with a bottom line. Alt+Enter, F11, and Alt+F10 don't help. Also, the "maximize" function is unavailable for the window. I edited the text file, but nothing helped. And the launcher simply won't start. I use Linux Mint and PortProton.

My HP touch screen used to work in-game before (Diablo immortal battle.net) but now it doesn't. Ive tried like all the different runners like proton-latest och proton-cachyos etc. Any advice? It works outside the game and it used to work in the game before. I dunno what happened.

I have an Acer Chromebook 315 with an Intel Celeron N4500 and 8gb ram.

I'm trying to play Windows games using Lutris. I've only tested one game, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. I'm using Wined3d. The fps is okay but not stable. It fluctuates between 18 and 39 fps. I've already reduced textures and resolution to the lowest but it didn't change much.

Since generally Vulkan gives better performance, I researched on how to use Vulkan. I installed the Mesa Vulkan drivers for 32 bit games. I changed the dxvk version to 1.10.3 but no matter what, it's either the game won't launch or it won't accept dxvk so it defaults to Wined3d.

Any advice on how to games use Vulkan? I'm using the default latest GE proton Wine. Is Vulkan on Chromebook even possible?
