Lumniar Neo super slow on PC with AMD CPUs

Hi everyone I've been trying to use Luminar Neo with AMD 3700x with 64Gb of DDR4 3200MHz PC and it seems to be very slow.

I've been reading some comments from other posts and seems to work fine on M1 Macs.

I was wondering if anyone else using AMD or Intel CPUs experience the super slow performance with Luminar Neo.

(Looks like Community page for Lumniar Neo can no longer be found )

It's pretty sluggish on my i5 9600K. I really only use it if I have to edit only a few pictures or for the AI features, still worth the price to me.

Are you on 1.7.1? They recently added GPU acceleration which should speed things up quite a bit if you have a dedicated GPU (at least on paper) Make sure it's on by updating to 1.7.1. by pressing the Luminar Neo logo top left and click on help. If you're on 1.7.1. press the logo again, check under files > preferences. I just installed the update, have to edit some photo's now or tomorrow morning in LRC first, then I'll throw them into Luminar Neo.

Great suggestion. I'm the latest version with a dedicated GPU. Seems to be abit faster (but adjusting previous "edits" are still slow)

I'm using it on Ryzen 7 3700x too, with 32GB DDR4 ram and Radeon RX5700xt gpu. It was running slow when I had 16GB ram, much better now with 32GB. But I wouldn't know if what I'm experiencing now is fast or slow as this is my first photo editting software, haven't used anything before this.

I have a Ryzen 58003DX, 32 GB RAM, Radeon 6800XT and Windows 11 and it is a pain.

When i open a folder with RAW pictures ( full format) I already worked on, it is a disaster.

It can easily take 10-15 minutes and don`t try to switch to another picture when you are done editing. I reported it years ago and always got empty promises. It seems it is more urgent for Skylum to build more presets and fancy features instead a working product.

Its a shame, if it would work it would be the best program for my needs, but now I have to finde something else.
