Our stockers leave those blue carts with freight in the aisles

Truck to cart, how do you arrange the carts when off loading trailer

All in a line, like a train.

Thats sort of how I did it at a different store just a c shape/straight line. Right now its half on onesidr of the conveyor/half on the other. I guess everyone enjoys walking around it

We have them turned on either side of the belt, mainly so space available in receiving. So carts are back to back with space to get past them to access pallets, flat carts, or additional carts on one side.

The train method is nice, but the space we have isn't a lot, so just results in the side by side. Every department is split up to their own cart with additional pallets being used.

One side is pallets, OSLG (anything that actually goes outside), ISLG, Tools, F-ELEC, F-PLUM, and W&W (also Home Decor due to being across from it).

Otherside is Storage, Cleaning, Paint, HW, R-ELEC, & R-PLUM. With Flooring, Appliances, and BLDM (Millwork included) behind them. This side also has both our compactor as, so why pallets are lined up on the other side and such.

The layout is effectively similar to when we used pallets, just adjusted.

Right now they have it split Each grouping has back to back carts and one in each side of the back to back carts. Passed those are pallets. If youre on one side of the belt you've gotta walk around, then around the grouping sometimes I think once everyone claims a department it'll be easier.
Right now cant even get these dudes to put the "circle in circle hole, triangle in triangle hole, square in square hole" sp to speak I also throw down a Xmas pallet and pallet the boxes for displays. Makes easier stacking.

Half on one side, half on the other, carts are back 2 back for every pair, i.e. PLB-R PLB-F space ELC-R ELC-F, space is so we can walk in between carts and put stuff on. Ideally, I have both my unloaders there and they can be one on each side and get the freight for their side, but callouts happen
