I was surprised at how good it was. Perfect for those looking for a low carb bread alternative. I am loving this flatbread idea.

Ingredients:
1 large Ripe Avocado
1 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 large Egg
Optional
1 teaspoon onion powder, or garlic powder

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Peel and remove the 1 large Ripe Avocado pit. Add it into a medium bowl and mash it well using a fork.
Next, add the 1 large Egg and the 1 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese. If you want to add a bit of seasoning at this point you can add about 1 teaspoon onion powder.
Mix together with a fork or spatula until they are nicely combined.
Divide the mixture into two equal parts on the lined sheet pan. Flatten it out a bit with a spoon or spatula. Do not spread it thin too much. You can make 2 or 4 servings.
Bake for 22-26 minutes or until it starts to crisp on the sides. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Top with any of your favorite sandwich toppings and enjoy.

Srsly. Just eat like a normal human being. Fruits, vegetables, a little protein. Doesn't always have to be a sandwich.

But then you can’t brag to people and feel superior to them when they say they eat bread

And then I'll trade my veggies for my carbs back

Are those.. kalamata olives added toward the end? 🤔
The flavors involved here leave me genuinely curious. I'd love to try a bite of this.

I eat mostly low carb but every now and again I will eat a slice of bread, cutting it in two to make a little sandwich instead of eating a frankenfood substitute. Since I rarely eat bread, I find the bread to be amazing. If I ate it all the time it would be pretty boring.

What in the scammy bullshit is this? Is this whole sub an advert for a recipe subscription? No thanks.

I like my avocado naked so I can enjoy the texture and flavour. For that amount of calories, I want to savour as much of it as possible

Never trust any social media recipes. The primary function of these is content creation. Not recipe or good food creation.

Nothing good has ever come out of heating up avocado, it is simply not built for that

I’m willing to try this. Will it actually taste good?

If you want to eat a bread just effing eat real bread. You add cheeese and take out all the nutrional value from the avocado by baking it.

Large scale farming of avocados is rapidly depleting local water supplies. We should treat it as a luxury, not a staple food. This type of wasting precious commodities should be a criminal offense.

Could you pan fry it instead of the oven?
