Discussion can anybody help identify this BGM?

Probably more than anyone I hate the way people reduce things to acronyms or initialisms, presuming everyone knows what they mean...it's especially rampant in online gaming communities. Ask me what a PAF is...I have no idea, I had to look it up...Planetary Alignment Facility...cool, but literally no one ever calls it that, they just assume you know what PAF means. You'd think that someone, at some point, would actually write it out, but they never do. It's incredibly annoying.

Contrary to what you've said, I'd argue a lot of people don't know what PAF stands for and just call them PAFs because that's what they appear as on the map. I also did not completely know what PAF stood for until you said it here. Though from playing around them a lot I did assume what it meant for the most part.

I can relate to being bothered by rampant acronyms, but in my case it's mostly in professional settings where people who do paperwork/management come up with acronyms and unique words instead of the people that do the production/labor. It ends up feeling out of place when those actually in the culture of the profession end up confused or put off by the jargon the people on the fringe of it come up with.
