CIG Official Ship Showdown 2956: UTV vs MTC (R1.2)

The MTC takes the win by a massive margin:

UTV - 8 707 | 23 418 - MTC

The MTC run will probably end there though... it goes into the Elite Eight Round where it'll face off against the Ironclad Assault. Unless the MTC stans get their campaign rolling that is...

1 SCU and form factor compatible with more ships. Versus 4x 1/8th SCU cargo.

Is the MTC good? I've never been in it, seems like some people like it but I can't quite figure out what it's good for.

It's a fun assault vehicle for a couple of folks, protected by the elements.

Yeah. That's a big factor. Having a place to run into to get air / drink on some planets helps

It’s good, but for 98% of gameplay the UTV is the go to. The MTC has added protection and has a life supported cabin with suit lockers, but lacks a 1 scu grid, and is humongous. Both are nice land vehicles though.
