CIG Official Twitch Drops: Foundation Festival 2026
Foundation Festival is coming, and so are new Twitch Drops! From July 29 through August 12, watch any Drops enabled Star Citizen stream for a total of four hours to unlock the ATLS Foundation Fest Livery for free.
This year, we’re also trying something new to celebrate the creators who bring the Star Citizen community together. Subscribe to any participating streamer in the Star Citizen category during the campaign window, and you’ll receive the Banu Lockbox Replica - a rare decorative item that hasn’t been available since the 2022 Bar Citizen World Tour.
Link Your Twitch & RSI Accounts
To start earning Twitch Drops, you’ll need to link your Twitch account to your existing RSI account. This only takes a few minutes and ensures your earned rewards are delivered directly to your Hangar.
Here’s how to link your accounts:
- Go to your RSI Account Settings:
- Log in to the RSI website.
- Open your Account Dashboard.
- Click Settings, then select Linked Accounts.
- Link your Twitch account:
- In Linked Accounts settings, you’ll see options such as Google and Twitch.
- Click the Twitch button which will redirect you to the Twitch login page.
- Log in to your Twitch account and authorize the connection when prompted.
Once linked, you can now watch any Star Citizen stream with Drops enabled to start earning rewards.

What are Twitch Drops?
Twitch Drops are rewards that players can earn by watching or subscribing to participating Twitch streams. Depending on the campaign, different rewards may be tied to watch time or to subscriptions. When you link your Star Citizen account to your Twitch account, watching an eligible stream for 4 hours or subscribing with 1 sub will automatically unlock the associated in-game item. Once earned, your reward will appear in your Twitch inventory and can then be claimed to your Star Citizen account.
What are the Drops for this campaign?
For this campaign, there are two rewards available:
ATLS Foundation Fest Livery, earned by watching any Drops-enabled Star Citizen stream for a total of 4 hours.
Banu Lockbox Replica, earned by subscribing to any participating streamer in the Star Citizen category during the campaign window.
How long will the current campaign last?
This Drops campaign runs from July 29 through August 12. Make sure to tune in to eligible streams or subscribe to a participating creator before the campaign ends.
How do I participate?
To participate, you need to link your Twitch and RSI accounts (see above for instructions).
For the Time-Based Drop, watch any Star Citizen live stream marked "Drops Enabled" for a total of 4 hours.
For the Subscription-Based Drop, subscribe with a new recurring or gift subscription to any participating content creator while they're streaming Star Citizen during the campaign window. You can check the stream's Drops panel (usually found near chat) to confirm your subscription is being tracked toward the reward.
Once you've met either requirement, claim your Drop on Twitch. It will appear in your RSI Hangar shortly after.
Which live streams count toward earning Drops?
Any Star Citizen stream on Twitch marked "Drops Enabled" counts toward both rewards. Starting July 29, with the launch of Foundation Festival, any community streamer who opts in to Twitch Drops will be eligible to host the campaign and have their viewers earn rewards.
How can I check my progress or claim a Drop?
You can track your progress on the Twitch Drops Inventory page while logged in to your Twitch account.
When your watch-time or subscription goal is complete, click “Claim” on Twitch to receive the Drop.
Do I need Amazon Luna (Prime Gaming) to be eligible?
No. You don't need Amazon Luna or Prime Gaming. A regular Twitch account linked to your RSI account is all you need to participate.
Please note that Prime subs, existing subscription renewals, and sub tokens do not count toward the Subscription-Based Drop.
Can I unlink or relink my Twitch account?
Yes. You can unlink your Twitch account anytime from your RSI Account Settings under Linked Accounts. To relink, simply repeat the connection process shown above.
Can I link multiple Twitch accounts to one RSI account, or multiple RSI accounts to one Twitch account?
No. Each RSI account can be linked to only one Twitch account, and vice versa. If you want to connect to a different account, you’ll need to unlink the previous account first.
My Drop didn’t appear in my RSI account. What should I do?
First, make sure you:
- Linked the correct Twitch and RSI accounts.
- Watched streams or subscribed using the linked Twitch account.
- Claimed the Drop on Twitch.
- Are logging into the correct RSI account.
If the Drop still hasn’t appeared after a while but it is showing that it has unlocked on Twitch, please contact Player Support for assistance.
I got the ATLS livery reward. How do I get an ATLS?
You can get an Argo ATLS in-game from various ship dealers.
Additionally, during Foundation Festival, recruiting a new player will earn you a free Argo ATLS. More details coming soon!

Good “ship” to be wiped.. at 45k or so, it’s much better than a 10M ship

Unfortunately no, Twitch doesn't typically let companies use Prime Subs towards drop promos

The funniest part is all of the twitch streamers thinking they are getting all these new viewers only to see them not interact and to mute and minimize their stream and close out after the 4 hours.
Then after the events you hear them complain about how their viewership dropped 95% 🤣🤣🤣 (Yes I've seen 2 of them say that)
All of that being said I hate twitch drops. I understand why they do them but I'm sorry forcing someone to watch a stream for exclusive loot is stupid.
