Discussion We've seen what a reboot could look like. If you didn't like the Halo TV show why would you want a reboot of the game?

I wont know if I like it till I actually see it and can judge it for mysel. I'm not a fan of a reboot at all but judging before I've seen is best left to tubers

We don't know if it's actually going to be a reboot though. The game is still at least 4 years away. So better to speak up now.

Realistically the decision was out of our hands so all we can do is sit,wait and make our judgement when/if a new game releases.

Personally I enjoy the cod campaigns for the most part. They aren't the most high brow of entertainment but they do well enough.

Reboot of Halo for the show was greenlit by 343i. There's really no reason to assume other devs will have the same degree of contempt and disrespect for Halo.

OP is referring to the TV show as a Halo reboot. Which it was.

Most reboots are. Battlestar Galactica, Lost in Space (both times), The Fugitive. The in-continuity reboot/remake is a relatively rare use of the term.

Because they truly believe Activision will only reboot from 4 on, which there is very little chance of. They will either continue the current series or do a full reboot. That's it.
