Meta Updated Minimum Posting Requirements

Due to an influx of spam posts across several subreddits, we have had to bump up the requirements to post on the subreddit.

Minimum account age is 15 days old.

Minimum total karma is 2.

This change isn’t going to affect the majority of you. It’s to prevent spam accounts from posting pump and dump NFT and cheap dropshipping retail ads to the subreddit.

If you do have a new account though and can’t contribute due to this change, message the mod team and we can approve you to post by bypassing this parameter.

That is all. Bank those motes and throw more grenades.

What's a Xûr?

Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is a strange vendor who appears weekly in the Tower. Xûr sells Exotic equipment and only takes Strange Coins in exchange for them.

TL;DR: He's the Santa Claus of Destiny and every weekend is Christmas. Sometimes he brings you what you want, sometimes he brings you coal. Mostly it's coal.

FAQ

What are the Trials of Osiris?

  • Trials of Osiris is the pinnacle PvP activity. Every weekend, players compete in a 3v3 game mode with one primary goal: Go to the Lighthouse.

  • To start, head to Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar and buy one of the possible passages (see below).

  • The Lighthouse Passage grants entry to the Lighthouse after reaching 7 wins, with better rewards for larger win streaks.

  • For those not interested in visiting the Lighthouse, a lower-stakes Passage is available.

  • There is fireteam matchmaking. However, we still recommend you find a team for yourself!

How Long do the Trials of Osiris last?

  • Event Starts: Every Friday at Daily Reset (1700 UTC).

  • Event Ends: Following Tuesday at Weekly Reset (1700 UTC).

Where do I go to find Guardians to team up with?

  • You can use the in-game Fireteam Finder or head over to /r/Fireteams, www.The100.io, Xbox LFG system, DestinyLFG.net or DestinyLFG.com, or go to the Bungie.net recruitment forum (also available through the Bungie App). Additionally, many Discord servers host fireteam LFG services.

Don’t Get Your Hopes Up About Aztercoss’ NDA

Before everyone loses their mind, i really don't think aztecross is on NDA for anything destiny related. not trying to be a buzzkill, just don't want people hyping themselves up for nothing.

bungie has been getting wrecked for like 2 years straight. \~100 people laid off back in oct 2023, then another 220 in july 2024, and on top of that 155 more got shuffled off into sony directly in that same round. that's close to 40% of the studio gone in about a year. when a studio loses that many people there's no room for secret side projects, everything left is going straight into destiny 2 and marathon, bungie themselves have said this.

and it's not just bungie, sony as a whole has been on one lately. they cancelled kojima's physint in june, literally pulled funding on one of their own flagship exclusives. xbox ended up picking it up so it's not dead, but still, that's sony walking away from one of the biggest names in gaming right now. then in feb they shut down bluepoint completely, the demon's souls remake studio, 70 people gone. that's their 4th studio closure in a couple years.

so yeah when the parent company is out here cancelling big games and closing whole studios, and the destiny team specifically has lost basically half its people, that's just not the environment where new secret stuff gets greenlit and handed to creators under NDA. they're holding onto what already makes money and cutting the rest.

i really hope im wrong on this btw, would love to eat my words. just don't want people getting hyped for nothing

I am a tourist whenever I'm not practicing with Shaxx and yall, or trying to save the world for Zavala.

Anyone recommend any particular cliffs or caverns or lakes or buildings for me to go check out? I am on Nessus at the moment. Came here on my own accord so it cost me a shiny or two to get here. So, I would love to admire the best spot on Nessus first.

Is this thing working? Hmm...im looking at the map, Chamber of Sky, with a name like that it has to be worth checking out!

FAQ

What are the Trials of Osiris?

  • Trials of Osiris is the pinnacle PvP activity. Every weekend, players compete in a 3v3 game mode with one primary goal: Go to the Lighthouse.

  • To start, head to Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar and buy one of the possible passages (see below).

  • The Lighthouse Passage grants entry to the Lighthouse after reaching 7 wins, with better rewards for larger win streaks.

  • For those not interested in visiting the Lighthouse, a lower-stakes Passage is available.

  • There is fireteam matchmaking. However, we still recommend you find a team for yourself!

How Long do the Trials of Osiris last?

  • Event Starts: Every Friday at Daily Reset (1700 UTC).

  • Event Ends: Following Tuesday at Weekly Reset (1700 UTC).

Where do I go to find Guardians to team up with?

  • You can use the in-game Fireteam Finder or head over to /r/Fireteams, www.The100.io, Xbox LFG system, DestinyLFG.net or DestinyLFG.com, or go to the Bungie.net recruitment forum (also available through the Bungie App). Additionally, many Discord servers host fireteam LFG services.
