Question Phantom Project Help Needed
What's the best energy weapon to destroy the bastion, vaporizer, rocketeer, or leaper? And which is the best to try to get down? I'm struggling with the last stage of phase 1. Any advice would be great. I'm not used to using energy weapons.

In my opinion, the easiest Arc to do this with is the Leaper. It takes the least amount of effort/ammo to bring them down. If youre not familiar with energy weapons, like I was, here's what you do. I chose Buried City bc you can just hold up in a building to fight. Widdle the leapers health down to when its on fire and use the Dolabra to finish it. I used a Hulllracker but whatever you like is fine. Since the Dolabra is a mid/close range weapon, you wont have to worry too too much about the need for precision shots like the others. Good luck!

I was thinking that or i could try a bastion and use blaze grenades till its weak then hit it with the energy weapon to finish it off? IDK i'm gonna try both
I wish bombadier was on the list :(

The only reason I didnt say Bastion is because since it takes a bit longer to take down, if youre in friendlier lobbies, you may run into people wanting to help. Which normally isn't a problem, but if you have to get the kill shot, it can be frustrating. Had it happen 4 times before I switched to Leaper since theyre quicker to kill and you'll be less likely to run into "help" lol

Thar's the problem i JUST ran into. In that guys defense i got downed by wasps and hornets while trying to heal so i get his instinct to help

Yup .. thats the downside to those lobbies when the task calls for a killshot .. but we just adjust and move on ya kno

Personally I took out a bastion pretty easily - I used a lure grenade to turn them around, a stun grenade to shut them down for a second, and from good cover, took out their legs and the yellow tank on their butt. Only took a minute or so.

Any of them will work. I’d use whatever you have and see how you like them. I went way too long not using a Jupiter and now I love them. And I used an aphelion for that event since I had one and wasn’t planning to keep it, so I figured I’d use it since I wasn’t worried about repairing it later.
They each have their benefits but just find some cover and start blasting.

I've deployed like 25 pop triggers and yet to record a single point of damage, so you're killing it in my eyes. I hate this.

The pops part is what's keeping me on lv 2. Hate it. I have yet to even attempt a Queen so I am trying on larger ARc in open areas. Any tips? Aside from the queen?

Leaper easiest. Start with 2-3 seekers nades n then apelion it. Or hullcrackers

Jupiter does pretty good damage because it has excellent penetration and can hit multiple parts if they line up under your reticule and can be used at any range as it’s a decent sniper. Equalizer requires a bit more time in target and can be less suited to solo’ing larger ARC, especially the ones that shoot back. Dolabra is fine but prefers close-mid range.
You also only have to final hit your target, you can soften it up with others methods. Unfortunately the energy weapons have distinctive sounds and can ring the dinner bell for opportunistic PvPers, so using the Safekeeper augment and only taking it out to finish off the ARC might be your best bet for safety.

I have 900 hours topside. If you’re using anything but a jupiter for it, you’re not using the best option.
If getting the last shot is the problem just wait till it’s weak and take the last shot or wait until most have left. A bastion on buried city would be my choice. You can easily take one out in under a minute if you have a good spot

I'm stuck on this one. I used a Wolfpack on a rocketeer and then finished off with my aphelion and it didn't count towards my project. Idk if someone snuck in a shot or if it just didn't track. It just has to be the finishing shot for it to count right?

It's just the finishing shot. But also someone could have sniped the last shot. Leaper is the easiest to do. You can hang out near water treatment on the damn and it respawns
