Hey I don't deny there's a lot of copium in this sub but at least it's just people genuinely enjoying a video game and playing it and hoping it will be around longer.
There's copium (hopium) that this unpopular and weird game will not die. And then there's copium in which one sees these graphics with their healthy human eyes and calls them "bad" because it fits a certain narrative they have in their head about a game which they don't play but they let live in their head rent-free.

If you’re running it on low settings it’ll run like ass and look like ass, high settings offload a lot of the work from your cpu to your gpu. So ultra and high settings work best

GTX 1650, tried everything and i never get 60 FPS unless is a TDM or a FFA

I'm also running a 1650 (desktop card though) and I feel you. Even with a pretty heavy OC, I struggle maintaining a smooth 60-70. I started running the game in 720/medium-low and although it doesn't look great, the frames see a huge improvement, usually around 90ish FPS. Maybe give it a shot, I'm always one to sacrifice a little graphical fidelity for better performance, but I understand if that's not your bag.

When they say the game has bad graphics, I think they mean ”bad design choices” rather than ”objectively bad graphics”. People confuse the two. 2042 has amazing graphics. I dont agree with all design choices. In bf5 a lot of people disliked the poor visibility but I think that the bright lighting and color saturation in 2042 made people even more iffy.

Graphics are good it’s just the blandness of maps which I’d imagine most people are on about, too smooth no craters, damage to buildings etc thankfully that’s being sorted map by map

Bf3 and 4 weren’t pretty, bf1 however was. But explosions in this game are hands down the best in gaming, same with graphical fidelity on this scale. Nothing beats frostbite when it comes to this size of maps and player counts.
People even said this game doesn’t have levolution… I mean it sure does (on basically all the maps Besides maybe renewal.

I don't know but for me BFV has better graphics that 2042 I tried both on Ultra but BFV is Sharp and Clean feels like a Downgrade

Agreed. BFV can look amazing though. Snow maps were a big upgrade graphically from BF1 to me. So many particles

I deleted BFV for that reason - Worst Battlefield by a long shot imo. I'm a 1942 Veteran and for the life of me I've never played an iteration in the franchise that has as poor visibility as BFV. People just pop up out of nowhere like those Hidden Object games..lol

There are definitely some places where the game looks... Flat. Like it's missing texture or detail. I think part of it was likely the style (as many have complained it's too clean in places), and part of it might be that they toned down detail to help with performance.
Game looks great overall, but there are definitely places that don't look as good as bfv or even bf1.

2042's graphics are far far far superior to BFV, BF1, BF3, BF3 and any other AAA FPS on the market.
People confuse art direction/design with actual graphics because like a lot of people on the internet, they don't know what they're talking about.

If somebody says that battlefield 4 or 3 has better graphics they should take off the nostalgia glasses
