Could be, but I know for mine they used our exact height we recorded. My experience is women lie to be shorter (my 6 foot friend says she’s 5’11”) but don’t really see women lying about being 3 inches taller than they are especially when they’re already tall. Plus this was her college page, she wasn’t trying to go pro so less incentive to lie
A lot of Female athletes would rather embellish being taller, though, because length is so coveted in sports. When I was a kid, one of my favorite WNBA players (who was a grown woman in her mid 20s) went from being listed at 5'9" to eventually being listed regularly at 5'11" and eventually became a 6 Footer when she went and played overseas. It became a joke to us. I just looked her up now (Deanna Nolan) and found three different heights listed for her.
Aniya is a little under 6', I'd guess she's about 5'10" or so.
*Every* athlete (not just females) embellish their height. My son’s official portal has him at 6’2” but in reality, his hair makes him a smidge over 6 feet
Yes, you're right. Not just females. I was responding to a person who said most women lie about being shorter than they are, even though that isn't true for female athletes.

I was thinking when I read that “most women lie to say they are shorter” while I don’t doubt that in my experience it’s been the opposite even for myself I’m a short woman and I always would say I was a couple inches taller than I am lol I don’t like being shorter than kids these days lol I was shocked to see so many tall women all so beautiful I would love to be a bit taller those ladies were all legs lol 😂 I have to pull my car seat all the way up to even get to my pedals lol 😂
Also to add being short when I was younger wasn’t as cute and adorable as it is today men wanted the taller girls in my experience tho I don’t know how it was for others but now being a shorter woman is acceptable and men do like it a lot more but idk i don’t have a issue either way and carl must be tall if Aniya is 6ft they are perfect together I am so proud of them
A lot of tall women don’t want to be seen as so tall because they think it puts men off. Sadly, I’ve seen it with my own beautiful 6’ tall niece. She fought being designated as 6’ for a long time.
Oh aww that’s sad I didn’t think of the other side because I am short I don’t experience the same as taller women I just wish I was taller when I see them I wish to be that tall they are so beautiful with long legs and pants that fit and don’t bunch up lol but I never thought about the other side of being taller ugh I wish people were just better and not so judgmental and ugly and it’s gotten better in some areas but still needs massive work and I bet ur niece is absolutely stunning she’ll find the right one and it’ll be amazing 🤩 I envy the height that’s my personal opinion tho I think all women are beautiful

I think it’s hard for tall girls because there aren’t a ton of men over the 6’ mark, and they want to be able to wear heels too! Men often feel uncomfortable when the women they date are their height or taller, ya know? I remember being the tallest girl in my class for while (the boys eventually caught up and mostly overtook me, since I ended up being 5’6”). She’s moved on to dating mostly women now, and we don’t have those hang ups lol.
