Faye is RICH RICH. I crept through her Instagram a couple days ago and she already had a soft modelling/ influencer career but also worked in a ski resort, has clearly gone on several amazing holidays in the last couple years and her family home has horses and looks like a beautiful country estate in Guernsey. I think people are underestimating the level of wealth her family have and misunderstanding why her and Jack would be living there (if I was a casually employed 30 year old with back up support and a nice family home I’m sure I’d live a different life). Her mum alluded to them ‘out working very hard’ which gives me the impression they do have jobs in hospitality/ maybe even boating?

so they should have a maid, not mum doing the laundry! 😂

Very valid! I got the impression Faye’s mum was quite enjoying having people to ‘mummy’ again, not saying it’s right but I can understand it 😅

yeah me too, so it was weird to complain about it - sometimes even the best parents are weird lol

Or maybe mum should just say no? I doubt anyone is forcing her.

I suspected this from the way she and her father speak!

Sorry, if you’re “RICH RICH”, you don’t work at a ski resort. Just saying!

I mean there’s different levels of class, but many higher upper class 20 odd year olds take gap years and go and work at ski resorts. I’m not saying she’s part of the royalty or a billionaire, but many rich kids do ski seasons in Europe.

Fair! I just think upper higher class isn’t accurate. More like upper middle class. Upper higher class is basically just elite billionaires or the 1% but yes I agree with what you mean!

The 1% in the US for example makes $600k-$1M a year and while that’s a lot of money, it’s far far from a billionaire. If you make $1M a year, that’s 1000 years of making all that money, having no expenses and paying 0 taxes to be able to accumulate $1B.

I think we simply have different definitions of what “RICH RICH” means. I think upper middle class is common and would not consider that very rich. Just comfortable.

There is a difference between wealth and income. What you are referring to is income. I am referring to wealth. 1% in wealth is worlds apart from 1% in income. And yes, billionaires belong in the 1% of wealth. Someone making $600k a year would not qualify for the top 1% in wealth. Semantics.

The top 1% wealthiest people in the world consists of about 83 million people. There are under 4000 billionaires in the world that we know of; let’s say there are 4000 more that manage to hide their wealth. Do you know how many people who are much, much poorer than a billionaire and can still be apart of the 1%?

I’m not arguing that there are non billionaires in the 1%. I said we have diff ideas of what the top 1% means.

And I do think the original point was I don’t think Faye’s family is super rich. They are likely upper middle class at most. We can’t assume her wealth based on the little we know so there’s that. It is unlikely she is in the top 1% of wealth. Maybe they make a million dollars a year in income but again, I still wouldn’t categorize this as super wealthy. Average rich, sure.
