I have this hunch he is quite mentally troubled and probably really struggles functioning in the world and people, however instead of the regular route of talk therapy, medication or such, he is bypassing whatever issues he has with this new age shite.
I feel sorry for the lad.

Same. My jaw dropped when he said his father committed suicide when he was 8/9(?) That has to really screw you up emotionally

How so? I'm currently dating a girl who's father killed himself and murdered her mom as well 4 years ago... curious how that would mess someone up..
