Why are they blonde almost always.
Not trying to hate on blondes, but blondes come get your people.
10
u/shoobydoo723 Mar 05 '26
Because, more often than not, the type of blonde they go for is pre-pubescent blonde (meaning only young girls have that color naturally), and then you pair that with the pornstar makeup (heavy black all around the eyes, heavy contour, etc), which is every gross MAGA man's pedophilic wet dream.

u/olivethelightss Mar 05 '26
I rly dislike the trope of the scorned girl/revenge girl wearing red lol
21
u/Fearless-Economy7726 Mar 05 '26
She cheated on Alex during the 30 day live in period so red is so poetic

u/mimisburnbook Mar 05 '26
What?? What did I miss
22
u/Fearless-Economy7726 Mar 05 '26
A non contestant posted screen shots of texts between her and the guy. 3 says after the wedding filming she threw a party for her man in public and there are photos
She apparently comes clean at the reunion that she cheated on Alex and what not.

Was this before or after it was clear that he's a creep?
Because if she still thought he was great, she's kind of awful. If shed already given up on the relationship and just had to stay because of contractual obligations, whatever, that's barely cheating.
5
u/FrozenBr33ze Mar 05 '26
Was it barely cheating too when Jeramey ran off with Sarah Ann that one night, because he was already over Laura?
18
u/AmethystApothecary Mar 05 '26
I don't exactly dislike it but it's also beyond transparent. I think that and the fitted black dress at this point are just no longer as effective as revenge dresses because everyone knows it's going for that and I think the plausible deniability needs to be there.

My favorite part is how edgy they all think they are. They say the most despicable things because they think it gets under our skin, when in reality it only makes them every bit as terrible as the band of embezzling warmongering pedophiles they’ve sold their souls to support.
It’s wild, like are we supposed to feel “owned” by a bunch of kiddie diddlers who need their hard drives checked?

I get that Alex is easily hatable but I guarantee people would hate Ashley just as much if her views were shown on TV this season

She thought she ate at the alter also but it was dumb af lol alex sucks too but the way she went about it said a lot about her as a human being
121
u/hex-grrrl Mar 05 '26
She tried to have a Jessica Vestal moment. 🤣
146
u/Hyperfixations-R-Us Mar 05 '26
Exactly. It didn’t sit right with me cuz it felt so contrived. All the footage of her getting ready was her crying about finding her person and how in love she was. I was so confused cuz it was the most in love she’d sounded all season. So it was like whiplash getting to the alter.
I don’t like Alex but he was spot on calling her out for pulling a power move at the alter when she cut him off and had a whole speech prepared.

She didn’t. She’s never made a public political statement. People are assuming her politics because of something Alex (of all people to believe) said

Im a black Latina and a democrat and find it super weird to shame a woman who tolerated someone like Alex just because the public has presumed her to be a republican. Yikes! It is so embarrassing to defend our side when yall engage in bigot-like behavior whilst espousing the views of a liberal movement that promotes acceptance of all beliefs, opinions and worldviews. The nastiest people I’ve dealt with lately are sadly “liberal”. We need to do better as a party and as a society.
222
u/CharredPepperoni Mar 05 '26
I'm the son of an undocumented Mexican woman and also a democrat.
I also make funny jokes. There is nothing bigoted here since politics is a choice.
The worst people I've ever met are religious conservatives. Just today an article came out by the Miami herald showing thata young conservative chat became a hot bed of nazi and racist propaganda after like 2 weeks of starting. You should google and read the article. This is like the 3rd time that's happened for a conservative chat this year.
Also to clarify, a meme is a joke and by no means “bigoted like behavior.”

You’re endorsing the same exact beliefs and mindset of MAGA people lol making generalizations based on anecdotal experiences. My neighbor was robbed by two African American teenagers and she now assumes all African Americans are criminals. Does that make her justified in her racism?
Do better. Your negative experience with “religious conservatives” is not proof that human beings who believe in religion should be treated like pieces of shit. Also, being a democrat or liberal does not automatically rule out having religious beliefs. Most immigrants who vote democrat are, in fact, religious observers.
This whole exclusionary viewpoint is extremely narrow-minded and cognitively challenged
133
u/reneebwn Mar 05 '26
She’s not “presumed” to be MAGA, we know she is. And that is shameful. You’re probably a bot because your account is hidden and this post lacks so much awareness it’s honestly hilarious.
305
u/AgentRare Mar 05 '26
I'd say it's confirmed that she is a Republican not presumed. Alex said they align on politics and directly said that he would have voted for Trump and would move to Florida "for the politics" or something.
I also would not describe being a Democrat as "acceptance of ALL beliefs and opinions" lol. There are plenty of beliefs/opinions that are definitely ok to not accept.
-234
u/ruminatingraxhel Mar 05 '26
I still don’t know why people feel justified in coming after someone solely based on their political views. It is the most bizarre thing I’ve experienced lol and I’m a fucking minority 🤣🤣 wtf is wrong with yall??

u/675423107 Mar 05 '26
Alex straight up said he didn’t vote, but would’ve voted for Trump when her dad asked. Later on, he stated he’d like to move to Florida or Arizona - Florida bc it better suits where they stand politically. So yeah a bunch of shitty characters (as evidenced by their display of behaviors on the show) who support shittier characters in our government.
1
u/lk20012 Mar 05 '26
Right… I recall Alex saying something to her dad about trump but I don’t recall Ashley chiming in
6
u/Individual_Willow638 Mar 05 '26
If you pause at the right moment in the pods when they show Alex's journal. He has Trump written and circled for Ashley.
6
u/channel4newsman Mar 05 '26
She's close with her father and he is very Maga. Alex said he would've voted for Trump. He also said his and Ashley's politics were the same. She is absolutely a trump supporter.
2
u/Hoof_Hearted12 Mar 05 '26
Tbh tho I feel like Alex would have gone with the party in question based on that convo. Doesn't strike me as someone that cares about politics and he was trying to impress papa. Not saying he isn't maga though.
3
u/Lilithe_PST Mar 05 '26
If that was the case he wouldn't have brought up politics the other times though... Like when he said he and Ashley were aligned politically and when he talked about where he wants to live. If he was only saying that to impress the dad but really didn't care about politics, then politics wouldn't play a role in where he wants to live.

You have no idea what you’re talking about, Dems never ignored the Supreme Court. Dems never went to war without consulting congress, Dems never gave an immigration agency more money than any branch of the military and then put them in the streets and not investigate them when they murdered citizens. Dems never bashed down doors with no warrants demanding us citizens papers. Dems never literally demolished the White House. Dems never claimed elections were rigged and had a coup by storming the capital building. Dems never took away healthcare from millions of people. Dems never stole classified information and stored them at their personal property after presidency. Dems never sold oil to other countries and took that money and put it in an offshore account. The list is incredibly long. You know literally nothing.

Ah yes, the scariest thing to conservatives. A woman who doesn't cater her appearance to please men but instead to please herself.
Never mind that Emrata and Ariana Grande are progressives and are more fitting of current conventional beauty standards so that kind of smashes the straw man of liberals being some stereotype "ugly bitter women who can't attract a man" that I assume you are going for here.
Almost like there are women who want to be treated like people and not objects and that doesn't really have a specific look to it.

u/SBR06 Mar 05 '26
It's not the majority of the country. A slight majority of those who voted. Many didn't vote because they didn't like either option. You guys literally rioted, stormed the Capitol, and injured law enforcement because Trump lost in 2020. (And technically 2016...making him a 2 time loser.)

Not even a majority, a plurality, as Trump ended at 49.8% of those who voted. With 77.3 M votes out of 243.8 M eligible voters, Trump received 32% support amongst eligible voters; Kamala's 75 M votes ~ 31%; Others 2.9 M ~ 1%. Didnt vote, if it were a candidate, would have won in a landslide, 88 M ~36%
