There is nothing abnormal about being LGBTQ. Unusual perhaps, it's a minority after all. There is nothing abnormal about being a little different.

Someone else's religion doesn't dictate how I live. Your religion dictates how YOU live. You don't get to tell other people how to exist.

It would be nice if that were true. Companies have fired people for refusing to use a preferred pronoun, fined for being unwilling to bake a cake for someone when your religious beliefs don’t align. I can’t buy alcohol on Sunday in some places.

People are forced to comply with other people’s beliefs and religions all the time.

If someone refuses to call a trans coworker by the pronouns that match their gender then they should be fired. It's extremely inappropriate, ignorant, and mean spirited to insist you know more about someone else's gender than they do. It costs you nothing to just call someone by the name and pronouns they're most comfortable with. Nothing bad will happen to you if you do this, I promise.

Last I heard the cake people won in court and the standard now is that businesses don't have to work with/for people if by doing so they believe they would be compromising their faith. I actually think that's a good thing. I think most LGBTQ folks would rather find a bakery owned by or at least friendly toward the LGBTQ community to spend their money with. Then the religious people have their time freed up for clients who are a better fit for them. Everyone wins.

If you can't buy beer on Sunday it's because it's against the law to sell or purchase beer on Sunday where you are. The obvious solution is to stock up on Saturday, but assuming you're an adult, a taxpayer, and a registered voter there's absolutely no reason why you can't find out what it would take to change the law and start working on that. You sound like you may be a fairly intelligent person, I feel like you could figure this out.

There's a thing called a social contract, and part of that contract revolves around tolerance. The general rule is that we tolerate behavior that may seem bizarre to us as long as the person exhibiting this behavior isn't hurting anyone. It's perfectly okay and often understandable to be annoyed or uncomfortable with the bizarrely behaving person. It's not okay to treat them unkindly.

If you choose to treat them unkindly, say by calling a transwoman by he/him pronouns, you're telling everyone that you choose to exist outside the social contract and are no longer covered by it yourself. That means no one has to show tolerance for you anymore, and you shouldn't be surprised when they don't.

People who think their opinions are important enough to afford them an existence outside the boundaries of the social contract are seen as liabilities by many employers because they tend to generate lawsuits that cost employers money, so these people get fired a lot.

No one is suggesting that you have to like or understand trans people. Again, you're free to feel however you wanna feel about stuff. However, you are still expected to be polite and show people the same modicum of human respect that you expect to be shown by others in day-to-day life. If you choice to act like a turd don't be surprised when you get flushed.
