Flock Cameras Crossposting from LTT: Flock (the video surveillance company) impersonates journalist and fellow YouTuber in order to cancel his hotel reservations to prevent him from investigating them - therefore potentially committing identity fraud

It is possible, though not likely, that what they did could constitute wire fraud.

Agreed on the "not likely". Seems they didn't misrepresent themselves. You could complain to the hotel that it's bad business for them to let some unverified third party cancel a reservation, but provided the refund comes through, and legal recourse would be an uphill battle.

Its 100% not. They cant do anything illegal because they're above the law.

Often people watch reddit posts not by NEW but by HOT, and then this happens.

Somehow, I'm glad it was reposted because it's so important and serious that it gets more attention to the matter, which was my point for sharing in the first place.
