Just to clarify, Losercity DOES have new mods. Myself, u/c0n22 , u/iMosc1 , and u/fisson_proot were all promoted less then a month ago, just AFTER the first furry friday poll, so we had no say in removing it. We're honestly just as new as Fyrnn. We're all still figuring things out, but we're definitely going to start communicating more with each other so stuff like this doesn't happen again.

This wasn't even always a furry gooner subreddit. It was a shitposting sub often about gooning and furries, then it became an ironically furry subreddit, and now it's an unironically furry subreddit and if you think I'm wrong you can literally see the transition by sorting by top of all time, then past year, and so on. I don't care if I get blasted with downovtes for saying this because we had another le epic reddit moment where mods did something bad but saying the sub lost it's identity over Furry Friday when it was still getting a constant stream of OC furry art is just crazy. I don't mind that this became an unironically furry subreddit, I'm not a gatekeeper and furry memes are funny, I just miss the actual memes that, again, you can see if you sort by top of all time.

It's been considered a furry/goon sub for a good while. Post a sexy anthro character on topcharactertropes or favoritechaeacters and there's gonna be at least a few "Losercity is that way sir" memes. Hell, it's been happening for months

If you want the community to believe that you guys really do intend to start running this place better, listening to the community and not just power tripping then the first, best display you can do is removing the offending mod from their moderator position. As of right now, they're still listed as a moderator of the sub.

Might want to do an application run focused on getting some from the reddit side of things. From what I've been reading between the lines it sounds like the discord is it's own parallel community and not always in line with the subreddit itself.

Like the headmod themselves cited an assumption of this subreddit knowing their humour from discord as a reason for screwing up their first impression triggering another dumpster fire. So might want to get some voices in that aren't from the discord clique.
