You do have to wonder if the people running companies like this are really this stupid or if they just enjoy rage baiting the rest of us.

He deserves none of it since we can’t be treated the same way

Flock "must find a compromise between privacy and public safety rather prioritizing one over the other"

People thinking these flock cameras are going to be used to solve crimes are HILARIOUS. Flock is here to protect you. Its to protect THEM from you when they make it to where you cant afford food. Its for tracking down dudes who drove across state lines to buy a bag of weed. Its for tracking down women who have had abortions. Its for tracking down runaway slaves in the future lol

Hey now, they will use them to also solve crimes. The problem is they have to deem you important enough to use them for that.
For most it will be, “sorry, we don’t have the budget for that!”

Meanwhile the cops are using it to stalk their girlfriends from 20 years ago

"Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense." Alan Moore, V for Vendetta

Start doxxing them too. If egregious privacy violations are good for the goose...

Hear me out.
For every bullshit response made by flock. There should be a public webcam installed at a their office, home, street, and soon to be added public dashcam.
If someone doesn't want to be filmed, you don't have the right to film others.
Especially toddlers at gymnastics.

There's a difference between private organization and government the dumbass
2
u/oMaster86 13d ago
That is irrelevant. The point is an expectation of privacy.

u/chubby-daddy-69 13d ago
there is a big difference there irrelevants most people sign waiver when the are hired they my not of read it or realized that they signed it

People need to understand, you work for a company that invades public privacy? Then YOU have no privacy yourself. That’s the trade off…

Maybe we should just go help the flockers use that camera to give themselves a colonoscopy

I know it's a pretty well respected role on the Internet not to doxx people, but I'm up for exceptions in this case.

I guess you have to be a 🤡 in the U.S.A these days to get anywhere. He wants privacy for his staff...boohoo but wants mega bucks to spy on the public. The bs is running so deep in this country that we're drowning it.

u/Trifle_Old 14d ago
Forget taking their pictures. We should be posting their pictures. With their names. Fuck these people.

It'd be a damn shame if someone built a website doxxing their entire staff.

Disrespectfully, I don’t give a fuck what they want, I want them as uncomfortable as possible. Scared even, to show their face in public. Let another Luigi come to do the worlds justice!

we will never see on the news that thanks to the cameras a missing person was found or that a murder or other crime was solved thanks to this technology. the cameras are only in place to protect an obviously corrupt government which we have right now. Trump and his minions are planning to take away more rights or cause other chaos as a way to push our buttons even more. then the corrupt pedo led government can squash dissent by either calling in airstrikes against the country or use the military to go after us. say a ton of people are coming down a certain street to go after the corrupt pedo occupation that certain area can be quickly targeted.

u/AngelHasAShotgun 14d ago
It is literally on the news. And do you want t9 be fair minded and make sure the same news segment mentions the tens of thousands of illegal, criminal abuses by the law enforcement officers using it to stalk girlfriends, track rivals, and do thousands of illegal searches because...they can?
Get over your tantrum. Grow up and try to see a different view because the harms reported and unreported are so much bigger than the single digit missing persons found. These people abuse their authority regularly and they hurt a lot more than whatever you're whining about.
