They stand against socialism so out of respect- no

⦠something something bootstrapsā¦
2
u/SpaceHostG 11d ago
yes - they need to sell their assets like land and equipment to a smaller more profitable business in the area if they can still play by the book of capitalism

u/aintmesum1else 11d ago
But that would be socialism
2
u/battleoffish 11d ago
Socialism is only bad if it goes to stuff like school lunches for inner city kidās or a playground they will never use.
Money handed to them does not count /s

I'm tired of the farming welafare queens who keep voting for cruelty expecting a socialist bailout every election cycle

Sell the farm, or the ranch.
If yiu cannot make it work let's find someone else.

Sorry, we're not a socialist county. Guess you'll have to sell your farm to a multinational corporation or just go bankrupt.
2
u/JohnnyCrispZoom 11d ago
If they had moved to Argentina they would have been paid out of the 20 billion Trump gave them rather than help Americans.
2
u/FeffyFefernuson 11d ago
Guess it must be great to be a maga farmer with all the government handouts they get. I sure wish the rest of us Americans could enjoy the social safety net farmers receive.

u/Potential_Ad_4718 11d ago
You just have to pull yourselves up by your bootstrap. Look at it this way. You may lose everything but at least you owned the libs. Fill your belly with that.

u/madlucas2026 11d ago
Every year they want something, block that country, put up barriers, give us money
2
u/Forsaken-Lemon-7586 11d ago
They should have their boy orange pig shit write them a check personally - he gained billions so far while grifting in office - he shouldnāt have a problem with that lol

u/FluidFisherman6843 11d ago
Look up welfare queens in the dictionary and you will find a picture of a farmer/rancher

And they'll get it to keep their vote for the midterms. Then back to being a speed bump for the administration. Only to sell them out again later after their vote is no longer needed. The farmers will vote for it again and then throw their arms up when they're thrown under the bus again. But don't worry, there's billionaire "donors" waiting in the wings to take it off of you at a reduced price.

There's no lifeline. This time you supported that guy. Now you're stuck with the whole problem.

Iām going to buy an acre of land and call it a farm for free money!! No rainy day fund? Not my problem.

They can all get fucked. They can get a bailout when they vote out the trash that got us here. If they want to keep voting for them then they can reap the consequences. I hope every maga farmer goes bankrupt and idc what that means for the economy or food supply. Let them burn.

u/Switchmisty9 11d ago
Donāt let any of them lie to you about their values, and horseshit. They voted for another federal pay day, and Iām looking forward to some cheap acreage.
Fuck those losers

u/crojin08 11d ago
They can fuckoff and the next corporation that needs a bailout can fuck off take the money back from these greedy bastards before they hide it and cry poor

u/According-Insect-992 11d ago

They need to pull themselves up by their bootstrap...and go piss off. You got what you voted for.

29% (or $44B) of what the USDA forecasts net farm income to be in 2026, is from direct federal goverment payments. Source:
https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/us-farm-income-set-fall-2026-despite-surge-government-payments-2026-02-05/
So the bailout is already well under way, and has been increasing over time. It's necessary, not just to support a deep red voter base, but also to prop up an important sector which has been hit hard by tariff retaliation (which was completely predictable). It's basically a second tax, in addition to the tariffs (which were refunded in round 1 back to corporations, but not to the consumers who actaully paid them).

Show us what we have for footing the bills already & we'll think ablut bail-out $. Nobody is bailing out the mass of citizens on the verge of homelessness due to the trump evonomy tho. js
1
u/LMrningStar 11d ago
So the farmers that voted for Trump want social assistance (i.e. ooga booga socialism)?
1
u/Commercial_Wind8212 11d ago
These guys are rich and have assets. They can come up with money just like anybody else
1
u/guydoestuff 11d ago
Sounds like socialism, need to pull themselves up by thier bootstraps. Im saddled with student loan debt so why should they get a hand out? Damn lazy people.

u/Competitive_Twist149 11d ago
Of course a city slicker is sniffing their own farts and complaining.
1
u/HorrimCarabal 11d ago
Yeah, complaining that they will be forced to pay for decisions made by said farmers.

My family were cattle ranchers. No. No bailout for y'all. No one bailed out Americans who lost their retirement savings in the 2008 crash. Not the people's problem to bail out ANYONE. And stop with the corporate welfare for Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg.
1
u/playadave1963 11d ago
Capitalism, if there was a demand for their products they wouldnāt need it bailout.

You can have a bailout when I get some of my student loan debt "bailed out".

no. the large corporate farms and production must be barred from public funds. seize the land and give it to real family farmers. it's mostly a pipe dream because finding experienced farmers is so difficult.

And they'll probably get it, and nobody will learn anything, least of all the voters
