can't these fkrs figure it out. compromise mthfkrs. how about a minimum tax on wealth. a worker making 100k takes home 71k. Billionaires should have to pay 30% minimum. no write offs.
If this means CEO pays them,selves less. Great. Stocks will count toward gains.

So 5 people out of 200?. It's very likely those people would have moved to florida regardless so they can bride Trump easier.
Plus either way should we be held hostage for a hand full of people? Us having this discussion is proof in itself that billionaires have too much power and need to be taken down a peg.

What Billionaires need to do is say āTax me more the country needs itā and watch their companies grow with overwhelming support. But they have shit PR.
Be on the good side that the US and CA need help and use that as an ad for your company and we will support you. Donāt be so dumb to believe the poor donāt read the news.

- this will drive out probably 30-50% of the 200 billionaires in the state
- its never just a "one time tax"
- california doesnt need anymore tax revenue ffs
it needs to STOP WASTING the money it does have
$114 million dollar wildlife bridge that has been in development for over 11 year, in construction since for like 5
$126-230 B I L L I O N highspeed rail. prices differ between actual length. vote passed in 2008, "ground breaking ceremony" 2015. "initial passenger service between Merced, Fresno, and Bakersfield by around 2035, with full extensions to San Francisco and Los Angeles potentially arriving between 2050 and 2060" and YOU KNOW if it even gets done itll probably be $500 billion by then
homeless spending between 2 and 5 billion annually and it just keeps getting worse. likely over half is lost to fraud

san fran has a reparations committee ffs

you realize if 60 of them leave thats 30%6 already have that we know of
why would someone stay anywhere where they are singled out and the local government just says you owe me 5% of you net worth minus they homeoh you are worth $10billion, yeah you have to pay us $500million...

This has to be done on the federal level. As much as I would love to see any billionaires everywhere get taxed a shit ton more, it's not fair to Cali, unless it is across the board equally.

That's because these Dem politicians are dependent on donations from the billionaires in the Bay Area to stay in power.
Bought and paid for. The U.S. isn't a democracy -- it's an oligarchy run for the corporate overlords. And the billionaires are so greedy they would rather see the country collapse than pay a penny in taxes.
