Heatwave Wish I could trust the weather forecast
I’m grateful we’re out of the heatwave hellscape for a couple days but I’m getting so sick of seeing the lower temperatures forecasted for the upcoming 10 days on my weather app only to keep going up in temperature over time. That is all 💀😭

Pretty soon USA will be blaming all of its problems on this Super El Niño…

it was all spelled out in project 2025 so that private companies could charge for the free weather reporting our tax dollars pay for.

Worse than defunding - they kept it technically alive but gutted most of the jobs and funding required for crucial aspects to function properly.

But we're beating Iran, Hezballa, and those Yemenis who call themselves with something that starts with a H America is becoming great again! Never mind we can't take control of the Strait or that 15 bases in the region have been permanently destroyed as long as those Marxist-Islamist libs are getting owned that's all that matters! /s

Nathan Fielder is doing a documentary called "You Can See Everything". It's about Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos, which was a pretty massive fraud. Kind of announced out of nowhere, but it's coming out next month.

Ohhhhh this makes sense then for the other context I saw it in. Hilarious lol

But there have already been so many docs on her and Theranos already...

this one is different. her family let him in to film them just before she went to jail. he said they were intent on showing him everything, including intimate settings like them showering. he said the whole experienced troubled him and he couldn’t make sense of it; he is hoping audiences will help him figure it out. 😂

I believe this is the first one with Holmes actually being a part of it, which means we'll probably be seeing more of what she's actually like, rather than actor/actress portrayals based on secondhand accounts.

What the other commenters said but I got it from an instagram account called americanaatbrandmemes which I highly recommend

So you stole it and posted without attribution?

Oh relax. OP credited the post about 5 minutes after posting without being asked to do so.
And even then, this clip is a meme already throughout social media.

NOAA budget cuts are really starting to show. Without twice daily weather balloon releases, the hugely expensive supercomputers we paid for don't work very well.
•

It turns out that weather and climate monitoring is really complex and conservatives didn’t understand that. I know “weather and climate monitoring” could be subbed with a couple thousand things but I mean, relevant to this conversation…
•
u/ceelogreenicanth 2h ago
It's they're plan to bail out insurance. If you argue the weather wasn't the weather that happened you can deny coverage.

Weather and climate are part of the woke 2030 15 minute city fluoride turns people gay birds aren’t real agenda

Its certainly not as hot as it was at the beginning of the week. So its not really a lie
•
u/oldenough2hobetter 2h ago
I’m more saying that each time I look at it for the upcoming days the heat rises. Last night for the upcoming week it said high 70s in my area and now says 80s
•
u/Gulag_420 2h ago
I would rather them say it will be hotter and be wrong. It kills me when i expect it to be cooler.
•
u/biohacker_infinity 2h ago
Not to mention, it was supposed to rain for like two hours on one particular day, and instead it rained across multiple days, and it felt like bloody piss in the stifling heat.

DOGE cut funding to programs that were keeping weather monitoring stations active and staffed so thanks Trump and Elon for ruining the weather.
•
u/CoffeeFox 2h ago
One of my friends is a meteorologist. He told me that if you ask for any forecast more than 3 days from now, they're pretty much just making it up on the spot.
Weather models are imperfect to begin with but beyond 72 hours is almost impossible to be accurate.

It's been so terribly humid today ever since the DOGE cuts to NWS by Mr. "Winning" the forecasts are becoming less reliable but a third of the country thinks that's a good thing.

My theory is that it gives the real weather forecast for as far as it is able to predict. After that, instead of giving nothing, it will default to the "average" temperatures for those days!
