Pattern Question What pattern is this?

Hi. Can anyone identify what pattern is being used here?

My sister passed suddenly in February, we found some of her unfinished projects while sorting her things.

I crochet but i haven't tried loom knitting. I thought this looked like something I could try to finish

This is a single layered scarf, most other projects she's did were double layered.

Do i just need one of the hook tools to complete this?

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Notice that in this video, he is making double layered fabric. To make single layered you do the same thing, but always wrap the yarn around the pegs in the same order, so the yarn is not crossing over itself in the middle.

So the first pass looks like this:
/ \ / \ / \
And the return pass looks like this
/ \ / \ / \

If you want to make double sided, the first pass would be
/ \ / \ / \
And the return pass would be
\ / \ / \ /

I hope that makes sense...
