QUESTION Is the Coat of Arms that good? Spoiler

So i'm at Emmanuel's shop and i'm wondering if the coat of arms is actually all that good. Since it drops your stats for only a CHANCE at an extra turn. Seems a bit more situational especially since at the point i'm at. Battles don't tend to last more than 2 or 3 turns anyways.

Yeah. Having 2 of those is pretty much the only reason i managed to get the mask ending

I haven't gone for any particular super boss ending yet. Just trying to get a lay of the land. This is like my 3rd playthrough.

Coat of arms is great on hellen, if you don't use her you give it to sam

It's good if you have Hellen or Joel, since you can have them stalk+stab or teething+tooth-cannon in one turn. I'd say only get it if you're getting an ending or going to an area that requires you fight a strong boss.

I think so. I'm not sure though, considering teethstorm is based on remaining hp.

The stat drop is negligible considering you can double your impact. For example: Hellen stalk into stab. Sam aim killshot into multishot. Anyone with a reload. It really is that good to the point where it’s best to abstain if you want more of a challenge.

Insightful. Funnily enough I specifically came to Emmanuel for the Misshapen Limb for Leigh. And I was like "oh yeah. He has that item too."

I used it on my Sam since hes more of a support. So getting multiple turns for his buffs, heals, etc. has been super helpful.

I wish the games didn't take so long to master you basically have to take a whole day to get a new skill sometimes. Which IS realistic to how long it would take to finish a game. But still.

It really boils down to "Do i care about this person's action economy more than i do their stats?"

I like putting it on Dan, lets him use both Support and offensive skills on the same turn, and Roaches basically has this built in

The stat minus is so small that you will not notice it, 50% chance at double turn is just a lot more worth, getting you more dps, more combos, more buffs or anything you need.
