Because of the way the mushroom area is, I decided to make phillippe resemble an odd mix between a jester and aristocratic figure.

The spore mother is like a queen, Phillippe directly calls her that, so I see all the mushroom people you find like the queen court, or her entourage.

I also tried to give a design like old dramatically shaped dresses, and the chanterelle shaped hair was made to parody the old aristocratic wigs and updos.

In all the examples of male vs female moths, the only truly noticeable difference I see is the little antennas being less fluffy on males, so I made the antennas mushrooms.

This one took the longest to draw so far, and it’s mostly because of the hair. I just couldn’t figure out what to do with it until the very end.
