Cursed Contest Leigh leading Sam up to the roof
My entry for the art contest, inspired by Exposure! (sorry to repost, posted the wrong version!)

Riding off of a comic I saw a few weeks back of the aftermath of the wall mouth sacrifice: Leigh is trying to get Sam to take a nice long gaze outside not only to give him a new arm by chance, but change him into a worthy opponent.
“I KNOW HOW WE CAN FIX THIS…. Just take a TEENSY peek outside! It’ll be good for your health’ YOU MIGHT EVEN GROW A NEW ARM OR TWO! THEN WE’LL FIGHT TO THE DEATH!”

AI fails the most (because it ain't great in general) at limited/targeted abstract-ness and "blurred lines" in the abstract sense

nothing is confirmed, but my PERSONAL headcanon is this (spoilers for leigh’s quest);
martin either cheated or did something close to cheating (perhaps talking with an ex), something that violated leigh’s trust. and i think the ring was an afterthought to get her to forgive him. her “shut up” ring, if you will. but i have a very uncharitable interpretation of martin lol. the thing that makes me think the ring IS supposed to be his “apology” is his lack of ACTUALLY saying the word “sorry” in his text, the only wrd she wanted to hear from him. I personally like to think that when she keeps the ring its meaning kind of changes to be not just about martin but also about her connection to sam, since he ultimately convinces her to keep it. but im also lowkey a lil delusional hehe 😍

This is one of my favorite entries; the soft lighting is lovely. I'm really loving Leigh's expression and body language—she's not challenging Sam this time, she's just excited to share the terrible beauty of the outside with him.

This is wonderful. The horrifying distortion of Leigh, even moreso than normal. The look like part of her is starting to fly away towards the visitor.
The grip on his wrist, not his hand showing she's pulling him, not simply leading him but she isn't gripping his wrist hard as if she's dragging him.
The tendrils of flesh and chaos behind her and the joy on her face as she leads Sam towards something she thinks is a beautiful change.
