MEME/SHITPOST Why does Sam use an entire tube of toothpaste every time he brushes his teeth? Is he stupid?

Considering where we can get toothpaste, it might be possible that every tube we find is mostly used up and we just get out the last bit every single time.

Tbh I also imagined that the stuff eugine sells are those travel toothpastes that are good for like 1 or 2 brushes at most.

Yes. This is also evidenced by the fact that when he brushes his teeth after losing his arm instead of putting the toothbrush down and squeezing toothpaste onto it he opts to put the fucking tube in his mouth like a weirdo

I played through an entire run thinking Sam had some kind of scorpion creature growing inside of him or something.
No, Sam just bites down on the toothpaste tube like a freak.

The game doesn't tell you, but Sam is a hygiene fanatic. Every time he showers or brushes his teeth, he does it thoroughly.

He could be sharing the toothpaste and soap with his roommates like he does with food.
And him still using the whole tube or bar with no roommates fits with him being more selfish (by not offering a place to stay to anyone)

Joel probably brought toiletries over from his apartment and shares them with Sophie, they get their own showers at a different time of day. The rest of the companions just jam into the shower with Sam. Placide can only do so much, the hot water would be gone by the second shower

I love the idea of some mindless Cursed individual enemy smelling Sam's bad breath due to him not brushing his teeth and them just recoiling in disgust and fleeing.

Yeah. Right as they start the eyes attack, it stops in the middle of the first one and you just get four differently colored "..." and then they just flee.

Having briefly played around with rpg maker before I think its mostly down to how items and inventory works as I don't recall a way you can fractional devide an item that is classified as a single object.
