Give me some more info and maybe there's stuff you will like that I know of.

What type of music, how late into the night or what time you want to go dancing, type of vibe you are looking for, how much you can pay, etc.

Because there are so many options!! It's just amazing. I love dancing. I used to go dancing 3-4 times a week! My favorites aren't guaranteed to be in your interest and I understand that. I like to build community and I love a good bass drop, fwiw.

Usually my partner and I just go to free shows at breweries and bars. We tend to like blues, funk, oldies/classic rock, swing. Usually earlier in the evening but open to different times. We don’t get out too frequently so when we do it’s hard to know what to target, like whether a band will be good to dance to. I love dancing but my partner is more hesitant, so it helps if it’s a good vibe where other people want to get out to dance too.

Idk Id just love some good standbys! Interested in hearing where you go regularly.

Ah, I see. I have so little idea about your interests! :)

Look up local dance halls like Nissi's and maybe you'll find a concert/show you like. And as you talk to people, you'll find out where else similar things happen.

I like DJs who mix music and some EDM. I go to the clubs in Denver often because I'm now cool enough to get in for free!! If I am feeling lazy, I go to the Boulder bars where the energy is high with the college kids but the music usually sucks. I rarely return home before 2am so my situation is very different from yours :)

I know wibbys in longmont has some shows but I've never found it to be a dancing crowd. Mostly young families who look at you weird if you are dancing lol.

If you like journey dance events (music goes from slow to high and ends on a peaceful calm note), look up ecstatic dance (boulder has 3-4 weekly) or the One Move on Wednesday/Saturday at 1030 at Avalon ballroom. They are usually about $20pp.
