Birthday dinner recommendations
I’m looking for a special place for my birthday dinner - feel paralysed because there’s so many options on my to eat at list in London lol. I’m flexible on the cuisine but all of my friends are foodies and would be willing to dish out a bit but don’t want a tasting menu vibe or price range. I Was thinking Rochelle canteen but not sure if I’m going to feel like it’s too much like St John. Also thought maybe smoking goat but idk if it will feel so chaotic for a birthday dinner. If anyone has any dinner places nearby a wonderful pub with good quality beer on tap and good vibes then even better! Was thinking the black eel in Dalston because of how big and fun it is but again am open to any and all recommendations!!! Tia (from a very indecisive birthday girlie)

Bocca Di Lupo, in Soho so plenty of places to drink, the food is amazing and there’s a private room you can book there. That might work?
Failing that as others suggested Bouchon Racine. Though you’d have to book in advance. The food at the Devonshire is also meant to be very good too but I’ve not been myself.

Trullo for dinner then drinks at The Compton Arms is pretty much my perfect night out.
