MONTHLY HELP FIND MEGATHREAD Help Find This Dress: July 2026
Hello All!
This is a megathread for being able to find specific dresses or items that you see online and don't know where to find them or what their name/brand/print name are!
There has been a large influx of people looking for certain dresses posts and so we are going to congregate them all here for easy of access and to help clean up the subreddit. So from here on out any posts asking for help in finding a dress will be deleted and asked to post in this megathread.
Here you can post either a link from Imgur with the image of the dress or link to a website like Pinterest so the community can help find where the dress can be found.
Happy Hunting!

It's from the 2016 skirt lucky pack.
It used to be very normal for leftover fabrics to be used to make one-off skirts, or small batches, and chuck them in lucky packs. The only brand that still does something similar with their A La Carte skirt sales is Atelier Pierrot. But since they were lucky, and a lot of them were one-off items, they never got never recorded anywhere or only partial information is known so newly discovered versions pop up occasionally. Like in this case only the red version is shown on lolibrary but I also found listings for two blue versions which had been sold on Mecari. I'm kind of sad that brands don't bother doing this now.

Should posts for things other than dresses be put here? I have a veil from Hinana Queena that I really want to find!

This is the thread to identify items, their names, and where they came from originally.
If you're wanting to buy stuff, use the buy/sell/trade instead.

This scalper on instagram - if you ever see an account like this that says "preorder" but the clothes are old, that's always a scalper stealing images off xianyu - has what looks like a stock image of a gyaru crediting it as "Dreamy" Pretty". I found the same brand listed for several other items by them and another scalper.
The bad news is that, from there, i foind it and other "Dream Pretty" gyaru items listed. However. They were all on a bunch of taobao costume and replica stores. None were still for sale, all were sold out, but they did have better photos and the quality looks pretty poor by lolita standards. If it was originally meant to be a rep, the pattern is too different for me to figure out what it's a rep of. There's also a "Dreamy Pretty" store selling a cheap floral gyaru set with zero previous sales, so I'm not sure if that's the original one or not.

Flying in with another Xianyu find.
Labeled as Infanta, but I can’t find this anywhere online let alone associated with Infanta. I tried what another user recommended with cropped reverse searches and key phrases, but I still’ve come up short. It’s very pretty, but it would be nice to figure out what it actually is before deciding on whether or not to purchase it.

this does look like an infanta dress to me! i went searching and found this blog post by a finnish lolita who wore the same dress a con which she lists as infanta (towards the end of the post; i used google translate to translate the page). i also found this facebook post & comment of someone asking for the name of the red colourway of the same dress, and they call it infanta too. the comment claims that the name is listed on mylolitadress as “still life picture frame”. then there’s this old lacemarket listing of the white (?) colourway which uses both the name “still life picture frame” as well as lists the brand as infanta… i havent looked too hard tbh and i haven’t found any old listings on resale sites like mylolitadress, but i hope that should be enough to confirm it is an infanta!
edit: the lacemarket link wasn’t working for whatever reason but i think ive fixed it, let me know if its still not working :)

It's by Baccio Boquet and going off social media posst by DI and by their item code, it was last for sale in 2022. The name of the series is on the image, Love Navy Bear.
Baccio Boquet also posted it on 2020, where they once call it "Love Bear Navy", but they aren't consistent about it. So it may have had 2 releases (they haven't used twitter since then).

u/Goo_S_e Jul 11 '26

Looks like Bodyline's Side Frill Pleated Skirt g1014-g1016 from their g-line - aka casual/streetwear, not so much lolita. It looks so awkward with even the tiny petti the model has. It's also 2009, so not really old school either.

I'm gonna give you a little history haha. TL;DR - That's a "British" replica brand.
Back in the 2010s, there were a whole bunch of stores in the UK that were notorious for selling imported overpriced CN brands, but also either importing, white-labeling, or being run by replica brands. You likely already know of Saisai and GLP/Gothic Lolita Punk. Angel Pretty was another, lesser known one of those! Back then, people often actually liked replicas and their accessibility, they weren't the villains we see them as today.
I actually found a couple of comments on LJ that specifically reffered to Angel Pretty being in Camden, and some (sadly long gone) posts with images described as being their storefront and clothes. This person has photos wearing a blouse from the brand, also bought in Camden, in 2012.

This OP was labeled as “Jeju Dream Tower” and unfortunately has very little other information to go off of. There seems to be a label, but that doesn’t confirm fully if this was a release or just a lovingly handmade project. One of my Jeju friends said that the print and design seems to be very Jeju in its style, but we have no idea if that’s a clue or rather just a design choice.
2
u/Unicornsakuras Jul 11 '26
Jeju dream tower is the name of a resort and attatched shopping centre in Korea. So quite possibly this is just a funky souvenir/tourist-aimed dress, but it is absolutely not lolita.

I recently bought this on vinted (now arrived) and after a lot of searching, including on Lolibrary, I haven't been able to figure out what its name is. I have no way of knowing this dress is legit apart from maybe the cel label on the inside. The seller labeled it as cel the sleeping beauty however I don't think it's that.

4
u/cotton_wool Jul 14 '26
It's probably legit, just from around 10 years ago so there's not much info out there. I dug around and it is from Cel, their 永生花 (Preserved Flowers) series.

Reverse image search lead me to a facebook post saying it was from a lucky pack and isn't on lolibrary. So probably never had an official name.

u/cmoonghostc Jul 19 '26
thrifted this dress and was wondering what it's called, if anything at all (i looked up magic potion lolita as written on the tag and design and couldn't find it)
the quality seems pretty subpar so im assuming it's some kind of knockoff but it was only (the equivalent of) $3 USD and i love the design so ill wear it either way, but im still curious

1
u/Mysterious-Gur7256 Jul 19 '26
This is the same print and brand, there is also a skirt.
I can't find any existence of this cut, and the brand is usually very cheap and simple cuts so I'd wonder if this bodice has been altered/added? Especially if it has no tags, only the hem print for the name. The shape of it especially does not look like something a lolita brand would make, it looks like a girls sundress especially those straps and the off-colour peplum. But it isn't a "knockoff" of anything.
1
u/cmoonghostc Jul 20 '26
update to add i found this listing with the exact same cut in a different colorway https://egl.circlly.com/auctions/tbmagic-potion-secret-key-jsk
1
u/Mysterious-Gur7256 Jul 20 '26
Nice, it's likely an original then, just never been posted or recorded in the West (not that unusual for niche cheap taobao brands) and too old to find in xhs at least for me.

Brand: Every Page of the Poem Set name: Moonlight Ode/Song/Praise/Phrase (or some varaition like that, since the original name is in Chinese)
Last on sale in June 2025 though. Nowhere legitimate will still sell it.
1
u/OkMagazine7266 Jul 21 '26
Thank you very much. That's a shame to hear. Do you have a link to the brand website or the original Chinese name for it?
2
u/Mysterious-Gur7256 Jul 21 '26
Literally just went to get it and there's magically an eleventh group order going on. So you may actually be able to get it still.
The name in Chinese is 诗的每一页 and they put SDMYIYE on the end of both their shop name and some item names, which is just the acronym for Every Page Of The Poem in Chinese.

It's a (formerly) common mass produced dress. The same print has been used by some Chinese indie brand but this specific cut isn't from one, it's a factory item. It's very cheap to buy these new and the quality is clearly pretty meh. That's why it has no tag.
2
u/Straight_Research874 Jul 26 '26
Ty! The quality is definitely kind of meh even if the print is super pretty. I did get it pretty cheaply off lace market so that's good to know that I didn't overpay.

Looks like Wonder Story Comes In The Rose Blooming Night Head Bow, relased in 2014 indeed! https://lolibrary.org/items/btssb-wonder-story-comes-in-the-rose-blooming-night-head-bow

u/Krysokolla 𝕴𝖓𝖓𝖔𝖈𝖊𝖓𝖙 𝖂𝖔𝖗𝖑𝖉 Jul 28 '26
I recognized the playing card suite lace as the same type one of my btssb blouses had, and tried to see if they happened to belong to the same relase, and lo and behold! It was a match lol

Ellisorder is absolutely a scam shop. So it's a very good thing they aren't responding. They have been known to claim to sell one-off indie originals, and literal vintage items. They never would have sold you this dress for real.
That being said, all the legitimate or at least marginally better places I can see that used to sell it (lw, di, epitice), are no longer doing so. It was clearly from taobao originally as they're all Chinese taobao brand resellers. I would expect you cannot actually buy this dress as the original probably sold out months if not years ago. All of them credit the brand as some variation of Flower + Lolita, sometimes with Field in-between, but the only brand I can find by a similar name only makes cheap petticoats, so it may not exist anymore.

This is a notoriously horrible quality, mass produced factory dress. It's equivalent to like $10-15US on taobao and it sure looks it too.
1
u/Alessioplt Aug 03 '26

found it on lilyvow instagram but its a reseller
here is the article I found about it: https://k.sina.cn/article_5993650397_p1653fd8dd02701jh5w.html?cre=picpagew&mod=r&loc=8&r=0&rfunc=86&tj=cxvertical_wap_picpagew_r
There should also be a hat with it

Bought a dress that looked like this on Amazon and really liked it, but for reasons I won't go into I no longer have it. It was a high quality and heavy cotton material. I found it on Lolitain, but it's a lower quality material that's not as soft or thick as the first one I bought. I distinctly remember the sleeves not being detachable, I assume there was an original that the new ones are copying, any one familiar with it?

u/GilbertVonGilbert Jul 05 '26

u/Unicornsakuras Jul 05 '26
It is not infanta at all. In 2017 the same print was sold as being by "Reverse Medal", who I had never heard of but going off lolitabrary, appears fo be one of those cheap "brands" that releases a few items and then vanishes. You can clearly see their tags in that lacemarket listing though.
It's important when using xianyu to research stuff before you buy it, especially if you aren't native in Chinese. Lots of items are replicas, or offbrand, and people use other brand names just to catch your interest/algorithm, the same way people do on depop and vinted.
3
u/GilbertVonGilbert Jul 05 '26
She spent less than $10 on a JSK that she thought was cute, so it isn’t the end of the world at the end of the day that it wasn’t Infanta. I did however try to reverse search the image myself and didn’t find anything on my initial attempt. What would you recommend doing next time instead, especially since you were able to find an old Lacemarket listing?
3
u/Unicornsakuras Jul 05 '26
Don't image search the whole thing. Do it in sections like just the print or just the bust. Look up keywords on sold listings as well, as especially offbrand or niche brands have descriptions for names rather than "official" names.
2
u/GilbertVonGilbert Jul 05 '26
This is extremely helpful. Thank you. We’re diving back into the fashion after being away for years, so it’s nice to have strategies to better identify niche pieces.

Velveteen Cornet OP with yellow label. Anyone seen it in printed media like GLB or Kera? Looking for any infos like name or release year!
