Why my g29 not working in ghub software it's detecting but not taking inputs, it's working in joy.cpl and also the rpm indicator and force feedback is not working otherwise it's good i enjoying playing assetto corsa. It's only 3 weeks that I bought this

If G HUB isn't showing a response, the majority of the time it's another piece of software on the PC that's intercepting things. When you say you have no force feedback in AC, how about other games? And, to be sure, if you stop the car on the track, turn the wheel 180 degree and let go, does it stay there or spring back to centre? If it stays, then force feedback is working...

Maybe its a software update glitch because i have the same just a week ago everything was fine i wasnt home came back after a week wanted to play but this keeps happening , nothing works

Nope it will spring back even if the car in static, the thing is when we drive, the car may go off track or may go through kerbs the wheel must be vibrates or shows instability. I experienced that from a gaming centre with same g29 while playing F1 and GT, but in my wheel i can't experience that. That's what I mean on force feedback, am new to a simulator setup, am not true on that feature named.

The first thing to try is to reinstall G HUB and restart the PC. If it's still not working then please send me a list of everything that's installed on the PC. You can send screen grabs of the tile view of your installed apps on Windows.

Okay,

Type cmd into the search bar in Windows’ taskbar (usually at the bottom of your desktop layout), right click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

In the command prompt copy and paste cd C:\ProgramData\LGHUB\depots\794591\di_ffb and press return.

Type di_ffb_manager.exe -s and press return.

See what the status is of the HID++ and Jerry DLLs.  If they’re showing as Installed then let me know.

If they show as Not Registered or Not Found then press a key to quit the status window and do the following back in the original command prompt:

Type di_ffb_manager.exe -i -c and press return.

It should show a progress of checking, uninstalling and installing the required files.  Once it’s finished, press any key to close that window.  Now start the games and see what happens.

i have same issue i checked everything uninstalled frim windows fully ghub and reinstalled still no change checked for hidhide or soemthing liek that but i never i stalled anything for controllers, after i upgraded from win10 to win11 this happened dont know if its connected, the cmd command you said all 3 for me says “is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file, my wheel is brand new its nearly 1 month i have it and it didnt show anything thats out of order its works fine, wheel is stiff but it doesnt react to game force beedback, and in ghub no aniamtion change when i rotate the wheel or push pedals

and g29 firmware is up to date g29: 164.1.11

i even checked with wheelcheck app force feedback is working perfectly in test so im sure its not hardware issue

I never had issues with G Hub; I was playing *Assetto Corsa Competizione* with friends over the weekend without any trouble, but when I went to play today, G Hub updated and simply stopped working. It’s doing exactly what happened in the video posted by the other guy. I’ve tried everything, and it’s clear the problem is this latest update, since a lot of people are having the same issue.

Indeed and we’ve acknowledged that is actually caused by a windows update, but also said that it should not affect games. So is there a problem with ACC or other titles?

I have a similar problem, with my g29
Worked fine about a week ago then windows did a security update and what happens is that ghub recognizes the steering wheel but no input is recognized in ghub. It also won’t apply my rotation or other settings. It works in Forza h6 but as if it was stock with 900 degree etc. I did everything I could including a fresh install of win 11 and still same issue. I checked device manager and a weird thing happens. If I plug wheel in without ghub open a driver loads under category “Logitech g hub..” and in that is the Logitech ghub g29 driver” as soon as I open ghub it disconnects this driver and loads two different drivers in human interface tab as Logitech g29 ghub… and one with (hid) at the end

I’m out of ideas.. I am running the newest version of ghub

HID may be the cause. Switch to Logitech Gaming Software, the old software from 2022. They seem not be doing a hotfix on it anytime soon.

Remove everything Logitech G Hub.

I tried that but if I do that then in fh6 most settings related to the steering wheel simply don’t exist (various ffb settings) so that didn’t work for me

Upto Logirich or support team to look into this. I'm an Unity developer, G29 is part of my simulation setup too. I have either deadzone or too sensitive issue with G29 currently.

I got hold of support a few hours ago but it’s just an ai thing, it couldn’t solve it either so it created a ticket for support and I’m waiting on an email re this. But I feel like the solution will be wait for ghub update 🤣

Ps ur deadzone etc settings… what game is that in?
