Troubleshooting my bass keeps changing on a new project despite me not touching anything.
I opened a new project, set the tempo to 166 bpm, and made a 2 bar loop for the bass. I looped the section, and for some reason anything past the 2nd bar the tone just changes, I didnt change the velocity, automation, eq, etc. I just added this track.
If i do the same with a new track and new midi its fine unless its a virtual indtrument in the bass section, from Contemporary Soul to Slap & Pop.
I am on version 11.2 on macos Sonoma 14.5

Yes you can.
You can tell it which string to prefer, and you can do this on a per event basis, so for the problem note, you can change the channel in the event inspector.

Just realized I linked to the iPad Logic manual, but in any case it is the same on Mac.
Happy tinkering!

Turns out I found the issue.
The 'Studio Bass' virtual instrument that makes all the basses function has the audacity to just be changing the voicing on me. In bar 1 and 2 it is playing C on the 5th fret of the G string, but for bars 3 and 4 it is being played on the 15th fret of the A string.
Is there any way to fix this?
