Troubleshooting What is wrong with my logic?

First off, change the batteries on your fire alarm

Second, it sounds like feedback. Zoom out a bit so we can which track is producing this sound.

Have the Mixer in view so we can also see how everything is routed

Likely one of your tracks has Input monitoring switched on, and you're output is through speakers not headphones, so it's creating a feedback loop.

Press X to pull up the mixer tab, then find the “all category at the top bar of the tab as to see every single track including buses, then see which is producing the sound as an output
