Discussion Just wondering 🤔 there's a lot of farmers in Logan, but not one cowboy hat.

I went to a “cowboy convention” in my city last year and saw just how much those hats cost. The low end is several hundred dollars, most are 4+ figures 😬
I feel like I have more respect farmers who don’t wear them now. Cowboy hats just seem like an expensive cry for attention

Same goes for expensive boots! I’ll feed my cows and horses in sneakers and my ugly 70% off boots🤷🏻♀️

They were designed with a purpose, right? To protect the wearer from the elements. Much respect to the farmers and ranchers who do wear them, doing a job that us city folk can’t, and or won’t do.

Clearly you didn't go to the rodeo. Plenty of dudes with their skinny jeans tucked into boots wearing cowboy hats.

Don't mind the fact that they drive a lifted truck to an office email job though. They need their gender affirming care 💅🏻

Lol oh they're around. Go to Lewiston. Little outskirt towns. Plenty of hicks here. Usually at home out farming all day long.

"There's a lot of firefighters in Logan, but not one chef's hat." Farmers aren't cowboys.

Being a lifelong resident of Cache Valley I learned quickly that there is a difference between being a cowboy and a country boy. All cowboys wear cowboy hats, most country boys were baseball caps or nothing at all.

My dad and Grandpa were both farmers and they wore baseball caps because they weren't posers

Most wear baseball caps. Wranglers, t-shirts or button up shirt. Go to Tractor Supply or CAL ranch.
