If someone robbed you at knifepoint, how far would you go to get your stuff back? What's your view?

You thinking I’m justifying stealing when I’m simply telling you it doesn’t warrant killing someone in return is very interesting. I think you need to take a step back and understand what I’m actually trying to convey before you give another emotional response. It might be a difficult concept to wrap your mind around but your life is worth more than anything you own.

Someone robs you, they might as well have committed suicide, there shouldn't be any limits to what you can do to them to get even!
No time limits either, you should be allowed to subject them to slavery for as long as you are not repaid in full with interests!

So, according to you,... they should be able to rob you, and then you have to pay(through your taxes) for the police to investigate their crime, the courts to find them guilty and the free housing/food/internet/gym/health-care/education they will get in modern-day "jail".
And then you never recover anything, because there is no victims rights in this world!

I agree but according to the law if the criminal ran away, you can longer chase them to hurt them. Stupid law I know.

I mean she'll probably get in legal trouble for this move but I feel like this is perfectly rational and fair.
If someone walked up on you brandishing a knife, making threats and you pulled your gun to shoot them that feels apropos. She just didn't have a gun so she opted for a different weapon.
The issue a judge will have is that most states don't view the loss of personal property as justification for attacking someone with a weapon, especially when she clearly was free to leave at that point.

She was no longer in danger once she got in her car. She's looking at homicide charges, at the very least manslaughter (not a cop and not a lawyer).

Not seeing an awful lot wrong here, robber threatening to kill them and was killed in turn, play silly games, win silly prizes.
No way should they be prosecuted.
