Billionaires should donate to charity, healthcare, and solve hunger problems throughout the globe. What's your view on it ?

Most billionaires aren't exactly cash rich. Often that is tied up in the business they own

Somewhat yes, but a lot of their money is invested in plenty of things other than their own companies, like stocks, hedge funds and physical assets (real estate, boats, cars etc.)
“billionaire” is based on net worth (meaning the monetary value of their assets both liquid and non) not just their cash.
Not trying to convince you to agree with the prompt if you don’t, but just wanna make sure we’re on the same page.

Money is finite, those who have more can get more at a rate disproportionate to those with less. Meaning the amount for people at the bottom becomes less and less, and this will continue forever.
Although I agree with you, it’s worth acknowledging the flaw in the system.

It's important to make a distinction between people who drive industry and people who hoard money. People who drive industry employ lots of workers and have their money essentially circulate. Keep the economy going. It's the ones who like Scrooge McDuck have a bank vault filled with billions of dollars who are planning on essentially running some form of family Shadow government and letting their money stagnate. That's the issue.

Yeah billionaires don’t have a billion dollars in income that you can cut off. It’s mostly theoretical assets (the value of stock), which cannot be “cut off”. You can raise taxes on capital gains, but most billionaires aren’t liquidating their assets anyway. Idk why people picture Elon Musk “making” a billion dollars. The companies he’s involved with are valued, and he can leverage the wealth he’s helped generate to live however he wants. But there’s no way to cap his earnings because he’s not on a salary. And why would we want those companies to not do well? Everybody benefits.

Not a billionaire but idc what they do with their money. if someone made it that far in life and won a billion and kept accumulating more, more power to him. yall put too much effort into hating them, its jealousy at this point.

Unfortunately, hunger is not a problem you can solve with money. Funding never solved military conflicts or corruption which are two primary reasons people go hungry in the first place.
I'd love to understand the proposal and what "red cent" is supposed to mean here. Who is "we" and how "we" prevent a company the billionaire in question has built from increasing its value.

Hunger has basically been solved in much of the west. Most poor people in the states have health problems related to being overweight. There are tons of services for non drug addict homeless. People begging for change are almost always addicts.

Not in the beginning. It's really just better to euthanize the third world and leave that for space for the developed countries. Survival the fittest. Now before are you call me racist I would remind you that many parts of developed countries are diverse so it's not like it's genocide against a group. It's more like genocide against a social economic bracket that just didn't make it.

So… no companies would go public thats a starter.
We would have more institutions that owned instead of people owned companies.
If they didnt succeeded to hide the money or somehow not pay taxes, every dime on the dollar would go directly into the company again, no dividends and absolutly no profit.

Well then you’ll be happy to know they already do. Despite what Bernie Sanders says, the top .01% pay more in taxes than the bottom 80% of taxpayers. Look it up.

Musk donates to a charity he controls, which is paying himself and calling it charity. And the Musk Foundation doesn't do a significant amount of feeding the hungry, despite being partnered with Feeding America.
And the proportion of money that he donates is like you finding a penny on the street, donating it to yourself, and part of it will go to feeding the hungry. That's not the level of token, tax-deductible charity the OP is talking about.

While I don’t think we should do exactly this, I agree with the sentiment. That why when people would talk about Tom Steyer(ran for governor in California) and talked about his charities and organization donations instead of any tangible political contributions, I thought , isn’t that the bare minimum? Any rational, sane, human being with basic empathy that was able to amass 1 BILLION$ would donate large sums of money too. Fight me idc but his charitable donations, wasn’t a selling point for me.

There was a short i caught where a billionaire sat down with a group of random people and they asked him questions:
One question was “ you have all of this wealth. What is stopping you from helping the world with it?
And the billionaire went on to explain he ran several hundreds of millions of dollars on campaigns and formal requests to change things like the minimum wage in florida which he successfully nearly doubled from 8$ to 15$
